Somehow this will still be Sheens' fault…

Actually, it was.

The fact he couldnt make it anywhere else goes to show he really didnt have it in him to be NRL standard. Tim letting Blake go looks to be a good decision. Had he became a regular NRL first grade player anywhere would warrant a Sheens bashing thread. Tim is the last person that anyone can blame in this instance.

Another recruitment disaster by Mr unaccountable Warren McDonald.
Sheens had nothing to do with Lazarus' obvious lack of talent.

Lazzo had a tonne of talent. He blew his knee out badly TWICE…......that's no one's fault mate. It's bad luck.

If he never got hurt, he'd have made it.

Well for one thing his name is Warren McDonnell…
Blake had talent but didn't go on with it. I don't see how this is his mistake... In any event I would have thought his record in recruiting young talent was pretty good. Our NYC team is consistently near the top of their comp.

Two years off…two huge knee reconstructions...loss of confidence...loss of speed and fitness.

Not many kids come back from two knee reconstructions before they've had a chance at first grade. I am really hoping young Tedesco gets a bit of luck go his way and comes back 100%. A second one at that age basically = career gone.

Bloody hell it's easy to point the finger - not every good Toyota Cup player kicks on yh be successful in the NRL

How is that Warren McDonnells fault

That's an interesting question. I hope Teddy has a bit of luck also. Why do so many young guys end up with knee reco's ? Has it always been that way ?

Now you're deflecting your original comment. Lazo and Moltzen were both gun juniors, with Lazo arguably the better of the two, but the knee recos definitely robbed him of any edge he had over the competition.

No loss and certainly no fault of McDonnell.

A close friend of his just told me he's come out of retirement and signed a new deal with Newtown last Monday.
