Where is Dwyers future??

What do you guys see as being Dwyers position in the future?? At the moment he seems to be playing prop when he comes on.. So in the future where do you see Sheens playing him..?? 2nd row.. Or playing him at prop discuss..

I remember him as a skinny tall kid in the centres in the junior reps. Amazing the mass the kid has put on… What do they feed these kids these days !! Doesn't seem like he has stopped either as he is getting bigger. I think Sheens see's him as a modern day Steve Price.

At Dwyer's age I can see him still putting on another 4-5kg and if that was to happen, he could make it as a good prop, I still think he's best suited in the backrow though. The Tigers are very lucky with the forward talent they have coming through the grades at the moment, there's going to be some serious competition for spots over the next 12-24 months.

If I'm not mistaken he's been playing in the middle/left side … didn't he play on the right in the 20s with J Shirnack on the right? Dwyer was damaging on the right ... leave Ellis on the left and have Dwyer and Fulton on the right. Dwyer's angle running is superb

He is to an extent HT but I do believe his time playing there has made him a better player in the long term. Prior to his time there he seemed not to do the hard graft in the mould of Ellis & Heighno and waited for the ball to come to him.

Lock forward is where he will end up IMO

I think he has been playing in the backrow when he comes on, even when he has replaced a prop, generally Highno moves into the prop role and dwyer plays that lock middle role

Dwyer comes on & usuallaly plays tight, but sometimes plays loose in Ellis' position & Ellis goes tight for a short time. Then he reverts back to his normal loose 2nd row spot. What "coach'' does is use Dwyer as a very mobile prop or lock {same thing now} but Dwyer doesnt seem to belt it up the middle hard, but his defense is fine. The young fellow has very big guns too.

Bob has hit the nail on the head.

Much like the Broncos, Sharks and Souths, we too have been employing the 3rd tight running prop, using Heighington, Ellis, Dwyer and Payten all to an extent. They pretty much play as another prop, however can shit a bit wider. Blokes like Corey Parker and Paul Gallen are the standouts at the position.

Whilst Dwyer is young and could definitely mould into one of those blokes, he could also be one of the more devastating wide running, hole hitting backrowers in the game.

To be honest, I dont know what anyone sees in him. I find him boring and rarely breaking tackles. For someone his size and speed, I expect more than what he has shown
