Where is Matt Utai?

Not listed as injured and not playing in any grade.
Did I miss something?
Anyone know what's happening with him?

Was that neck injury before or after he gave Potter a mouthful, when he was pulled off the field for Ready first round?

I'm glad, for the team's sake, he is injured. I have grave doubts as to whether we would have won the past 2 matches with him in the side, Mansour and Loko would've run rings around him. Reddy, whilst not being outstanding, at least comes with a degree of dependability, you know what to expect from him and he is very safe under the high ball.

Its a harsh way to talk about a guy who was among our best last year and has played 2 good years for us now.

He came here on match payments at first and done nothing but play above what was expected. Even if this is the end, we shouldn't dump on him for 1 bad game in R1.

Well the Miller call is hard cause Brooks is so close behind him. It's unlikely we can keep both in medium to long term and that's probably the motivation for seeing Brooks into the team (as many think he is the better long term option). I guess ideally it will be like Manly with Hodgkinson and DCE.

Utai has massive deficiencies that he will never be able to overcome and his advantages don't justify his inclusion. Lack of height and pace make him a very limited player. To top it off he looked disinterested in the newcastle game and made errors in his running game, his one big advantage.

Galloway is probably just frustration with how injury prone he is. Maybe with the add of hindsight he will prove to of been a waste of cap, or maybe he will lead us to another premiership, who knows?
