Where we WILL finish....

I believe next year will turn out to be a bigger year than this year. Consider the following:

- Moltzen back
- Tuiaki back
- Juniors like Murdoch- Masila, Fifita and Dwyer only becoming better players
- 'Dead wood' being removed
- A truly injury free Benji Marshall
- An incredible amount of depth: players who would be playing FG elsewhere may get time in state cup

… and the list goes on.

I seriously think the ladder will finish something like this:

1\. **Tigers**/Roosters- These two teams will be the two premiere teams of '11 - only injuries will prevent this.
2\. Roosters/**Tigers**- See above
3\. Dragons- Loosing many good depth players. If they don't win 2morrow, the suffering could continue
4\. Titans- An older Roster. Don't be surprised if they slip further
5\. Broncos- Will be very good next year... Inglis and Hannant + not loosing any players of real note bar Folau, but Inglis > him anyway
6\. Dogs- VERY solid recruitment, although they will miss Hannant's work rate and go-foward
7\. Raiders- Extremely good talent coming through. If they can stick together a Premiership might not be that far away.
8\. Warriors- Solid recruitment with Feleti and Krisnan. They will fit in well at the Warriors. I can't see them any further than 7-8 though.

All in no order

Top 4
Tigers, Dragons, Roosters, Panthers

5-8
Eels, Titans, Broncos, Storm

9-12
Bulldogs, Raiders, Sea Eagles, Warriors

Bottom 4
Sharks, Knights, Cowboys, Souths

agree with all apart from dogs and possibly warriors.

dogs will have a faily inexperienced half pairing and have signed some hot and cold players.

warriors are just hot and cold period

That's interesting about the Storm…. I reckon they might sneak in to the 8.

I think anything but a 'top 4' finish again would be a failure. Not sure who is leaving apart from Fitz. Plenty of depth at the Tiges and some great kids coming through. I have never seen so much talent in one roster. My confidence in Sheens has been restored with some of his finals game plans. The nucleus of the team is still together and with a strong off season and more application next year, I honestly dont think they will lose more than 7-8 games during the regular season (4 losses predicted from complaceny). Moltzen and McKinnon will add great stability, need to find a place for Brown (interchange) and Murdoch/ Fifita will provide the 80 minutes we have been craving….

So do I, that's why I put them there.

Good analysis Student, however I think the Raiders may finish a little higher than 7th, totally agree with your point about 'dead wood', not having Fitzy and possibly Skando (I can't be sure he's retiring because he's already come back twice) :unamused: , assuming Skando doesn't come back, getting rid of those two and replacing them with younger players like Brown, Fifita, Dwyer, Moors etc. can only be a positive thing, and with Moltzen and Tuiaki back in full flight, minor premiership is a real possibility.

Like this year, we are a Top 2 team in 2011.

My Top 4: Tigers, Canberra, Brisbane, Roosters…

I predict Storm, Manly & Titans will come out of the 8...

1.Wests Tigers
2\. Broncos
3\. Dragons
4\. Sydney Roosters
5\. Bulldogs
6.Cowboys
7\. Warriors
8.Titans
9\. Panthers
10 Melbourne
11\. Sea Eagles
12\. Canberra Raiders ( no campese til june)
13\. Sharks
14\. South Sydney
15\. Parramatta Eels
16\. Newcastle Knights

To Improve the Tigers need To get a few big hard forwards , an extra outside back ( maybe if no one in the U20's is ready) and a guy who plays hooker , Half and 5/8 to cover as a back up half back. Tigers need to finish games off and play defence for 80 minutes . ( if any thing like either of the souths games every happen again where in big trouble)

i think the storm are real smokies (if you can even call them smokies) even though they lost inglis and a bunch of forwards they still have the spine that made them so successful and i think the newcomers will aim up too with bellamys guidance

bulldogs, manly and rabbitohs.. they have the muscle to do some damage up front, they just need their halves to perform consistently ( i doubt rabbitohs as long as they have sutton/sandow pairing… imo worse than benji/j mo combination)

if we keep our key players from injury i dont see why we cant take out the big one

My predicitions are:
*Tigers finish 1st and I also think we'll win the final.
* Penrith will drop off, wont make the 8
*Parramatta will also drop off, loosing Mateo and no good halves/hooker
*Storm wont make top 4
*Saints will make the 8 but fail to make the Grand Final
*RAIDERS WILL MAKE THE 8 (confident about this one)

(edit: 'Hadds' post under mine just reminded me about Campese, confidence has quickly faded).
