Any chance it has to do with the fact Vossy will be one of the main commentators at the Olympics

Actually what will happen there

Rabbits will no doubt call the swimming

Maybe Voss is positioning himself for a possible change with the FTA rights up for grabs ??

Not much of a fan of Ray H to be honest, reason being as when he was calling the Rugby World Cup last year, I wasn't able to watch the game as I am use to his voice being on the radio. So there I am listening to the game with the tv on!

Agree 100%… Voss has been Plutoed and I am disappointed.

I was interested to see Hadley and Vautin were commentating together - I thought they hated each other? Have they made up or is Fatty doing the old "act like I love you on air and then badmouth you behind your back" trick?

Hadley will probably be over in London too! Who knows who will get the gig during the games!

He's gone from being on the footy show, the roast and commentating 1-2 matches a weekend to, well, reading the 5 minute sports report and commentating 1 game a weekend at the most. Pretty shabby imo. Cmon Foxtel! Bring him across to replace Andy Raymond, surely Matty Johns and Mark Geyer will put a good word in for him.

On a slightly smaller scale it looks like Fox Sports have punted Mark Braybrook down to Toyota Cup, a little bit disappointing, he was probably my fav or 2nd fav fox sports commentator, I don't know how he got relegated before Raymond.
 
Fox have the worst commentators , They really should of gone for Hadley, he would of gone there instead of Nine i believe
 
If 7 or 10 get the rights to the NRL I hope the first person they sign up is Andrew Voss. Yes he can be a little over the top at times, but he has no club allegencies and will call it as he sees it. He appeared to upset some people when he was on the Footy Show a few years back when he was hard hitting, but the guy loves the game and will focus on the game when he is calling, not having a stupid conversation with his co-commentator that nobody cares about.

Andrew Voss Dumped By Channel Nine

Andrew Voss has been dumped by Channel Nine with the network dropping him from Friday Night footy call and The Sunday Roast to cover the Queensland Cup.

"To see the Roast without Andrew Voss, it just isn't the same," his former co-host on the show Mark 'MG' Geyer told the Triple M Sydney's Grill Team.

MG continued "a lot of people don't like him. He rubs people up the wrong way but he loves his footy. It's his baby."

With no official statement forthcoming from Channel Nine, footy fans alike can only wonder about Vossy's absence.

Speculation arose after Ray Hadley was the second caller behind Ray 'Rabs' Warren for the Broncos Vs Cowboys Friday night footy game.

The rumour mill then went into overdrive when Vossy failed to appear on the 'The Sunday Roast' with his popular segment 'Stuff That You May Have Missed' being given to Darryl Brohman.

Instead Vossy was in Wynnum, Brisbane preparing to call the Round 1 Queensland Cup Game.

Vossy took to Twitter to explain his absence "Thanks for the support everyone. I am just a footy fan who has had the best job in the world. The Roast was huge fun for the last 6yrs."

Personally I can't see him being out of the game for long, another network will pick him up somewhere whether it's fox, radio, or another tv station if they get the rights.

What I don't understand is if ch 9 feels he rubs people up the wrong way with not many people liking him, why replace him with someone who I'm sure people hate even more with Ray Hadley?
 
Hadley is a an out and out tosser .Vossy could be a clown from time to time , but you could not deny his passion for the game

Hope when the FTA rights are disappearing from under Ch 9 nose Vossy gets a job out of it with another Channel whether it FTA or Austar|Fox
 
Ray hadley is ten times better footy caller than voss , and if you think johns and guyer are good , god help our game , guyer cant count to 10 and johns is riding off his brother using him anywhere he can to look good ,and i think voss is suing hadley for something ,

Not really.. Hes been on radio for years, mcdonalds has been selling hamburgers for years too, doesnt make them any good, just popular. Everyone might hate voss, but he can call. Ray should stick to what he knows best, whatever that is

I'm disappointed they've axed The Sunday Roast. In my opinion that was the best footy show on tv, always looked forward to watching it at lunch on sunday's.
 
Looks like hadley has been listening to the fans as he has slowed down his general play call, but hes still boring and his voice is painfull, sterling and wally have good voices and would make better lead callers.
