Which club would you choose?

I've been thinking lately that it is a tough life as a Tigers supporter. When someone asks me who I support I squirm a bit.
Then people ask, why the Tigers?
Good question.
Surely only a sadistic, masochistic or completely deranged person would choose to support the Tigers.
That's true.

But here we are all tragics. We have no choice. It is too late for us.

So, just out of interest (from one tragic to many), if you had to choose in a purely hypothetical world from all the other clubs, which club would you choose to support?

Disclaimer: This does not call into question any loyalty. It is just for fun.

For the record, I would probably be happiest as a Broncos fan.

I choose the Warriors. Toss up between them and the Sharks as I feel most comfortable when supporting a club that promises so much, but fails to deliver. Cronulla as becoming almost a regular top 8 team, so will follow the warriors as the u/20's success, promising juniors, revolving door coaches and false dawns are things that I am familiar with as a Tigers fan.

I've always had a soft spot for the Raiders, and also Cronulla because my girlfriend goes for them

Would like to see one of them two win it this year

The other fifteen teams are all the enemy, if and when the Tigers die that will be the end of the NRL for me.

My wife has been saying to me for decades.."vote for another team"..my reply I am not a swinging voter

I'd be a Penriff supporter if I didn't pick (brainwashed by the old boy,) the Tigers, I've lived here most of my life.

If Wests ever went tits up or whatever I don't think I could ever bring myself to wear another teams colours though.

None of the above. For me no Tigers no NRL. I was trying to work out which team I hated least but I couldn't nor wouldn't support any of them.

Go the Tiges :sign:

X2

I voted Raiders , always had a soft spot for them.
Plus I'd still get the highs and the lows which I'm accustomed to .

I could never follow another team and i think that the vast majority of supporters would feel the same way no matter which team they follow

I agree. For me it's Tigers or bust. But I'm not asking you to follow another team.

I was just asking if you had a magic wand and had the ability to be completely impartial. With the opportunity to pick a team of your choosing.

If you still would choose the Tigers then I'd suggest you take your pills and listen to Nurse Ratched.

I wont change a thing, good being part of the highs and lows

Do hold a soft spot for the cows though.
If i find myself watching them play i always support them except when the other teams is TIGERS

Cowboys for me, had a soft spot for them since the 2005 GF. Would also be good to follow an out of town team so I wouldn't feel guilty not going to every game.

It definitely couldn't be any of the Sydney teams left, especially growing up in the 70's, i followed Balmain, but went to the Wests games on the weekend, i lived in Lidcombe, my second team, hated pretty much everyone else accept Newtown, and their gone. So, Warriors for me, i like the Bro's anyway.

TBH at the end of 1999 I thought I was walking away from the NRL…I watched the WT's just to see what had become of my old club. I don't know when I became a fan of WT

So I presume the same thing would happen now. I am pretty disillusioned with RL at the moment ( I use to watch 4 games a weekend now I only watch us). However RL is in the blood.

As I go through the list of other teams I can't imagine supporting most of them... Id say GC just for the sand and surf... On the other hand maybe the donkeys. After I became a supporter there would probably be 3 extra teams in Brisbane overnight. So that would be good

Geez it's like asking who would you most like to be your kid. I mean there are some nice kids but they're never going to be yours. As much as I'd favour some teams over others they couldn't you duplicate what I feel for the Tigers.
