Which players do you expect to stand up in 2014

Blokes obviously like Farah ,Woods ,Fulton and Tedesco are a given

But which of new signings or the juniors do you expect to join the above four in 2014 ??

I really think Keith Lelua will be an asset to our backline next year. He is great defensively and can score tries.

I just wish I could spell his name right!

Kurtis Rowe! Watch out Teddy cos he will be gunning for your position!
That kid has motivation like no other and if he wants the FG Fullback position he will do whatever it takes to make sure it happens!!

"stand up"?? well hopefully all of them…. don't want another year with a team of cripples.

Um, probably Austin, Lawrence, Sirro (obviously), the usuals farah, fults, teddy etc. and hopefully Brooks. Buchanan and Tapau look like they will go alright, buchanan definitely needs another preseason and taupau needs more game time than at the dogs.

Rowe couldn't even hold onto the third grade (under 20's) fullback position for parts of this year and has only been playing against people his own age while Tedesco has played 20 NRL games and by the way he could still be playing under 20's.
Noffa, Sirro and Teddy are a class above the other 20 year olds at the club that's why they are in 1st grade and not 3rd grade.

As far as stepping up next year I think Tapau will do really well, I have always been impressed with the way he plays and also Blake Austin will have a big opportunity to do well in the 5/8 position.

I did not say he would get the FB position straight away, I said he would be gunning for it, and knowing this kid personally he will do whatever it takes to get it no matter how long it takes!

How much of Rowe have you actually seen? Did you see him play NSW Cup last year? He played well and was scoring try's just like he does in NYC and that was 12 months ago! Potter has also been working with him 1 on 1 for the 2nd half of the season and Rowe has been sensational!

But then again I do have to remember that Rowe isn't a 'local' boy like Teddy so of course he wouldn't be in favor over Teddy with the Tiger diehards now would he?!!! But that's just an outsiders observation!

If that was an attempt to start a Wests v Balmain argument you have had an epic fail

Teddy is a Wests boy coming through

Austen is being talked up by a lot of people,At present he is playing state cup in a club that did not make the play offs at NRL level.I see him coming to us as similar to Tom Humble, dominated state cup but maybe just a tick off the pace at NRL level.Could be wrong and just needs that break to prove his ability but gee we like trying to find a super star in the bargain bins.I suppose one day it has to work

No I couldn't care less about who's Wests or who's Balmain quite frankly! My point was he is a Wests Tigers local and Rowe is not!!

Rowe is very talented and I expect him to play some first grade at some point somewhere.

I think Sirro will come of age as an edge back rower, I reckon he is ridiculously talented.

I expect Lawrence to be better next year.

No chance for Rowe next year,

Has talent, but needs a lot of work and physical development. More than one off season can provide.

BMM… he is running good lines, amped for impact, and though his hands have let him down I am pretty sure its a focus thing rather than skills. You can see he feels better in his skin, realising his capability, its just a matter now of stripping it back to focusing on each fundamental.

I can also see Blair finding his way at prop assisted by Brooks and likely Austin being given broken down roles to find their way.... Blair will thrive in structure.

If Tedesco continues to shine I wouldn't be surprised if Rowe looks elsewhere. He has real potential

I recommended rowe to my friends who are dog's fans. Would be an amazing pick up for them i reckon, he could debut end of next year and i fhe stays healthy help fill that void left by barba without compromising the centres.

The one I really hope the most to step up next year is Mick Potter, don't hold out hopes on any of the NYC players apart from Brooks standing up as they all need to beef up a bit and spend some time in the NSWRL Cup!.
I'll be very very happy if Nofo, Marika & Tim Simona continue to improve and that Aaron Woods recovers to 100%.
