Which Tigers are up for a rep spot?

I suggest the selectors keep a close watch on the following.

City/Country - Lawrence, Moltzen, Galloway, Gibbs, Farah, Ryan, Ayshford

NSW - Lawrence, GIBBS (I capitalise because he is never mentioned but he should be), Galloway, Farah obviously.

One thing I am starting to feel, is that Ayshford might be even more effective than Lawrence. Which is a big call but he is really looking good.

Galloway's performance tonight was a big boost for his origin hopes. Lawrence is an outside chance since a lot of the usual suspects at centre are out injured.

I think this season and the end of last season, ayshford has been a better attacking and possibly better defensive player than lawrence. Lawrence still hasn't regained the form that had him in talks for origin last year

As to your thoughts on our centers, Ayshford does look very good but Chris is all class. Look at how their repsective wingers are going.

Well that may be so but Ayshford seems to actually be ABLE to do it all himself.

there are plenty of great NSW centres in front of both of them eg Jennings, Morris, Monaghan (Once returns from injury), Tahu, Cooper, plus probably a few others im forgetting but definetly a chance

Ayshford still gets caught out positionally in defence on occasions. He'll fix that though.

I get the feeling the centres is one of the spots the NSW selectors will import some new blood into. Guys like Cooper & Monaghan won't get a look in and it's genuinely arguable that any of the others you named are better than Lawrence.

If Gibbs keeps improving he will finally live up to his promise. I think the turning point with him was when he started swinging haymakers at George Rose in round one. He's no longer the young jerkoff big guy with the punchable face. He's now an actual monster in his own right. Watch this space.

I reckon Jennings and Morris will be the centres. Lawrence has an outside chance of jagging a wing spot. I reckon he is certainly origin calibre though.
