I could see Heighno moving on, he has been great for the club but the last couple of years he just hasn't been at his best. Then Lote would also have to go.

I don't think he's worth 500k. I could see 325-350k with 3rd party arrangements. He was one of the few state/international reps and the marquee player at Penrith. If he wants to go to a competitive side he will need to share cap room with people like Gallen, Tupou from the Sharks, Benji and Robbie from us etc

+ carney who the sharkies have pretty cheap this year! He'll want a pay rise.

I reckon the players that will probably get shown the door are:
1\. Joel Reddy
2\. Lote Tuqiri (He will most likely retire because that injured arm has kept him out for quite some time and has note performed since he signed with us in 2010)
3\. Tom Humble
4\. Dane Chilsom (Hasn't even played a game in first grade for us, so i doubt he will be needed for the next few years)
5\. Chris Heighington

Most likely looking this way, I'd go as far as letting go of Cashmere aswell. Not performing and very poor handling.

How many seasons does Lewis have left in him. I know that Gould talked him out if retirement this year? 16 years at the Panthers isn't it?

I would say definately 3 good ones, maybe even 4\. As for him being talked out of retirement, when you don't get on with certain people, when the club is going through ANOTHER rebuilding phase, and you've been doing the same thing day in day out at the same place for 16 years it can wear you down. Lewis wouldn't be the first player to have a fresh start somewhere else and set the world on fire. ( His origin form was excellent)

As for who has to go, well this gets difficult. Wests Tigers are caught in their own dilemma, by wanting to wear two hats. On one hand we want to be known, and take pride in the fact we are loyal to players and they want to stay with the "brotherhood". On the other side of the coin, the game is a business and we want to win, and therefore trade our old stocks for new and improved.

My gut feeling is the writing is probably on the wall for Heighno, given it was rumoured he was shopped around last year. Funny how his form has never been the same either. Deep down though, i don't think we will get Lewis, so it probably won't matter.

I like cashmere i think he is a good player and is a good back up prop for incase either woods or galloway gets injured. But the problem is sheens might want pettybourne to play prop.

After last weekends pathetic defensive showing the lot of them and that includes the coach
