Who needs to step up for us to win the premiership

I understand that the team will need to stand up as a whole for us to win the title
I think the one guy who needs to play at his best during the semis is our captain Robbie Farah His form has been greatly improved over the last month but I think we will need to see his best especially against the likes of Brisbane or Melbourne

Agree Farah. We all know he can play better, he needs to step it up a bit now IMO.

If the boys keep rolling on as they have, without any 20 minute drops in concentration and we have Lote, Rowdy & Ellis back i think we are a big chance. Our big boys up front have to keep going forward, Lui has to keep his recent run of more solid defence up and Utai has to learn how to catch if he wants to play a part.

I still think the most crucial person for the finals series is Tim Sheens. If we get our game plan 70% right i am sure our ad lib specialists will do the rest.

I think almost all the boys have stepped up over the last few rounds and that includes Farah. He is getting back to his best.

If I had to nominate someone it would be the young props I'd like to see some harder running from, I guess Keithy too. Gibbs has already lifted!

Farah, Benji, Lui and Moltzen all need to work in one cohesive unit, together.

Too often during a game it appears they are all operating their own little game plans, and the play breaks down.

i think we just need lawrence back and have that left edge combo working wonders for us
farah is already lifting and on the rise coming into the finals
ayshford , ellis, galloway have been great guns all year and have really stepped up.
ryan is playing to his potential and doing some great things(im one of his biggest critics- until 3 or 4 weeks ago i had been calling for his head for 3 years)
Lui has had some great games
benji has been great all year

I would probably like to see a few nice big shots from the forwards to lift the teams spirits in games.

other then that just overall the team lifting as a whole not just one player, i personally would like to see a few of those brilliant tries where almost everyplayer in the team touches this ball in a lead up to a try.

Our Back 3 - Fullback & 2 Wingers.

1\. This will be the diference between teams kicking at leisure or ensuring they are more structured.
2\. The momentum gained from kick returns and the first play the ball before our bigger men can start carving out meters.
3\. All 3 need to concentrate in defence to ensure they dont get isolated.

Our Back 3 are more important than Benji, Farah & Lui if we are to win this comp!

Deadset. Benji & Robbie are class players and will show it when it matters. Lui is looking good too - was incredibly strong against Parra and you need a strong half to win the big games. We just need these guys to play well.

But it's the back three who need to continue to play above their par for us to win. I like Utai in attack but he's a nightmare defensively, and all three there at the moment are prone to the odd lapse - usually ball watching and hoping it'll find touch in goal instead of securing it. Hoping Lote looks good this weekend. I really like Utai - hard not too - but heart in mouth stuff having him there in the finals.

Agree, definately the back 3\. I tremble every time the bomb goes up.
No matter how good we go in attack we need to be definsively strong under the bombs.
These 3 need to attack the ball with confidence as I can see some tries being scored against us.
That said, Moltzen looking like he's playing with some confidence, lets hope he continues to improve.
