If marshall gets needled up and iced all week will he still be kicking conversions on friday? I would think not but then who would be taking our kicks? no lawrence? does brown kick much he took the last line drop out but it wasnt great lol.

Wasn't Farah kicking when Benji was out for a bit last year?

The ever-reliable Wikipedia (looks like it was pasted from NRL.com though) says that he has kicked 12 goals in his career for the Tigers. He could do it….

A bit off topic but how good was it to see Mitch Brown throws his hand up for the drop out when Benji was out. It was a real display of the boys playing for each other from how they acted in those last 10 mins of regular time.

yeh i watched the game again and the camera operators did i nice throw from mitch getting ready to kick and marshall on the sideline, they did an awesome job for each other and should be resting this week. But we will smash the raiders!!!!!!!

farah doesnt get alot of distance with his kicks but im sure someone will step up, even lortay!

I think that will depend on who is named in the team tomorrow. Goal kicking will be vital in this game so it will be important to have a goal kicker ready if Benji can't take them.

Easy. I can't see McKinnon playing. So bring in Sean Meaney for fullback. He is an awesome goal kicker as well.

kicker… pfft. we'll score 6 tries and kick a field goal.
Benji will get first option. news tonight was a lot better.
I know Lawrence fancies himself if there is a minor miracle and he plays.

Hope the doc's learned where to stick the needle since 2008 Leichhardt Oval and the Robbie Farah incident - his leg buckled under him. Wouldn't be a good look as Benji moves in to take the kick at goal.

I think PP's solution that we just score lots of tries is the only logical one.

Here we go again. Blame a well-respected doctor with years of service to the club…

FWIW I think Marshall will play, if he doesn't Lawrence would be second choice, if he's not back this week I'd say it would be Lote. Farah is a dud kick.

they have to go with someone who is experienced at that level and wont be phased by the pressure so i believe that rules out meaney if he plays and browny, it will have to be lote for mine has kicked under imense pressure and would be better than farah and take the extra pressure off of him

depends whos on the field at the time i suppose…tuqiri comes to mind along with farah but from what i hear fifita is a gun when it comes to goal kicking...if lawrence is back he will be my 1st choice.

Agreed, I'd rather place the ball and roll it to the sideline…

I think Farah's goal kicking percentage was 70%. If he has been practising then I reckon he will do the goal kicking if Benji isn't able too.

If Benji can't kick then Meaney will, if he hasn't been given the nod already.
