Show'd up formwork Sunday nite I copped it not only off roosters ,rabbit and manly fans but also parra, knights and basically anyone who knew I went for the tigers. I gave it back as good as I got and put on brave a face , smiled and laighed but deep down it still cuts really deep when the club is like a religion to you plays like that in a must win game :sign:

I CANT GO TO MY LOCAL PUB FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS, AS I HAVE TO SAVE UP, SO I CAN PAY OF THE ROSTERS SUPPORTERS, WITH THE BEERS I OWE THEM. i FEEL GUTTED THAT MY TEAM PLAYED LIKE A BUNCH OF GIRLS.

Had a couple of mates give me a bit of stick at work, but they're Dragons supporters so it's no big deal.

copped it from m yworkmates, knights/rabbitohs fans, worst of all got it from my boss, who is a roosters suporter, got sms messages from mates.

just once i would like to go tell the roosters fans to to stick their cocky attitude where the sun don't shine.
who knows it maybe next year.

I copped a bit at work today even from a wooden spoon fan. Safe to say I have removed my wests tigers teddy from my back window in my car.

No one had to say a word, the smiles on their faces said it all.
I'm the only league supporter ( fool ) at work the that goes to every game.

Never been so embarrassed to be a Wests Tigers supporter in my life!

Geez Knights and Parra fans shouldn't be crowing about anything! Parra will get the spoon and I recall the Knights being Premiership favourites at one stage early on too.

Yea I got it from all other teams supporters to, especially when there is 100 other people on my shift at work

cheers to all at least I'm not alone and i still wore my tigers shirt with pride today cause thats my team and forever more :righton:

The first half hour of every Monday morning at my work is spent talkin about the weekends games. Today was the first time that I was embarrassed to be a tigers supporter.

I find during uncomfortable times like these it's very handy to play the schizoid 'bloody joint venture' card… You know, as a former Wests man I just kind of charge into the eye of the storm, pick up the nearest Eagles, Roosters or Dogs fan and throw them as far as my twitching forearms will allow before shouting ... "Whatcha Expect When We Have To Mix With Them Latte Sipping Balmain Types!"

Of course if you come from the Balmain side of the marriage you just substitute ... "Whatcha Expect When We Have To Mix With Them Fibro Snorting Magpie Types!"

Works for me.

most of my friends are bulldogs supporters :frowning:🙁 copping it so bad srsly. they didn't give it to me coz of the roosters game but coz that bulldogs lost against raiders, destroying our hopes. hate them soo bloody much

One of the senior guys at my work is a Manly fan. He just took the condescending attitude that the teams are in their rightful place - Manly playing in the top 4 and Wests having September off… Grrrrr!

Most embarrassing time to be a WT supporter? You're kidding right? We could very well miss (or even make) the semis on for and against. There have been many more embarrassing times than this, and yes I know it's all about expectation this year, but if you're more embarrassed now than in 2001/2002 when we had guys getting busted for drugs, fingers where they shouldn't be etc and couldn't win a game to save ourselves, then you're really kidding yourself.

agreed… Banter is all apart of the fun in the workplace. I'm sure they dont think any less of you because the Tigers lost a game of football.

I'll be there giving it to all the Dogs; Storm; Souths; Cowboys & Broncos once their teams get knocked out in the Finals regardless where my team finishes.

2001 & 2002 were embarrasing! 2012 is simply FRUSTRATING!!!

Getting bagged out by friends is a part of having them and being a loyal rugby league fan.

I have never gained any good grace from mates for being a tigers fan. We are not a well respected side. Even when we have winning streaks they say 'yeah they are still crap' lol….thats why the games when we face off and win are so great personally. Fortunately, many of my friends are Parra men so I havent copped it too much.

I got smashed hard from all the footy fans at work and even some of the AFL fans. Only redeeming factor is I am not the only tigers fan at my work. Sometimes following the Tigers is a very cold and lonely place to be.
