I'm flying down Friday morning with the girlfriend. The form we've shown the last few weeks has me pumped up and I can't wait to get down there and cheer on our boys. Hope to see plenty of Tigers jerseys in the crowd!!!

Did you get that cheap deal, whatever it was, with Tiger Air?
I might have to look into flying down. I assume channel 9 will have it as the second game at 9:30… what a joke.

Due to four teams having the Bye it will be live across the country as it is the only Friday night game.

I will also mean that like our game against the Warriors the kickoff will be a little later to allow them to pad the coverage a bit more
 
Flying down Friday lunchtime.

Ticketek is only spitting out Category 1 tickets on the 10m line. Can't get anything better
 
Awww so it is, I thought the Canberra v Newcastle game was Friday too. That's good news!

I booked the trip a few weeks back so didn't get the cheap Tiger air deal, looks a good price though…...anyone taken up that deal?

Flying down on Friday morning with my son .
Just bought tickets off wWade ( great bloke) in the Supporter's shop at Concord Oval.
Our Club can only sell the Away team supporters bay which is in Bay 59 on the Western end try line corner . …paying $25 a ticket for the privilege.

Can't wait ...how they really put on a store against the cheats

there is a group of about 6 of us heading down thursday night . didnt get the deal with the club but the flights were just as cheap on that day without it. looking forward to seeing this new stadium. anyone know a good place to grab a pint before of after the game?
 
I'll be there too! Using our neighbours Storm season tickets so will prob be surrounded in Storm fans. Should make it more enjoyable
Taking my (nearly) 4 yr old boy along to his first Tigers game too. Hopefully he can stay awake as it'll be a bit past his bedtime.

I'm heading down Thursday and going with a couple of my afl supporting Melbourne mates!
Is anyone else a little annoyed at the club for having the flight deals so late? I mean, I'm all for getting people who wouldn't usually come to games going, but as a member who travels (gosford, penrith, Auckland last year) I can't help feel a little aggrieved that there is no deal or consideration given to fans who book early. Payed full price for my flights and game ticket, seems like a punishment for booking early, maybe some early bird discounts??

We live in Canberra and my young bloke has regular specialist appointments at Royal Children's Melbourne, first time a Tigers game is on when we're here. Seeing the Tigers smash the Storm will bring a smile to both our faces!

Down here now in bleak city and it's always interesting to read the local view. In the Herald Sun there's a 2 page spread on Bellamy's 250th match .
Also a piece on stand in captain , Hoffman saying that the Tigers don't worry him & it's a massive chance for the young placements to stake a claim .
Bit the stat that stood our for me was that the Storm lave not lost a Friday night home game in 11 years & that they ate 6 wind from. 7 without Cronk playing .

Of well , record are meant to be broken & even though the Storm haven't lost this year by 13+ ….this will GE a memorable night
