But if someone decides to captain coach ….......

He was pretty handy in his day

But can he still take the hard knocks? At age 45 years he would be the oldest galloper roaming the paddocks.

He has shown his resilience by taking a few hard knocks this year and it's a trait which he hopefully can pass on to his young team in 2016.

Not sure if you remember but Taylor held the record until recently broken for the most games in a row (160+ if memory serves )

Moses will be #1 kicker. I reckon he will be a bit shaky first 5 rounds but once he gets into the swing of things he will be solid

Moses is a better kicker than Richards, he will get it.

Sironen also kicks but not sure how good, hes not bad that's for sure.

Highly doubt that MM is a superior kicker to Pat.
Or were they just not letting Mitch kick last year to build up our anticipation for 2016?

Whoever gets the job I hope they are practising their arse off because we sure as hell can't afford to be gifting away 2 points after whatever amount of tries we grab, it is absolutely crucial to be going up in 6's.

If Brooks doesn't perform this season it could well be Rankin at halfback and goal kicker. Brooks, just like so many players from last season certainly cannot take their position for granted in 2016\. All good for the club.

What I am saying is that Rankin didn't sign with WT just to play State Cup. He is a player with the ability to play a very capable role as half back in first grade and is probably a more accomplished goal kicker than Moses. Taylor has much more all round depth in players this year and will have drilled to his players that no position in first grade will be taken for granted. I would venture to say that even Robbie Farah will be feeling the heat.

I remember when he was with Norths and played Parra with a broken nose. They were trying to smash it all game long and he toughed it out.

As for goalkickers, Moses it the obvious. I'd take Sirro (and maybe Brooks) over Simona.

This is what I don't like about the modern game, how players are attacked to put them out of the game. They are all workers trying to earn a living and that is the last thing they should be doing. An attacking player can be already tackled and on the ground have a previously-injured knee and some idiot will grab hold and do a somersault with it trying to wreck again. They should be banned from the game.

From what I've seen of Simona's kicking he couldn't hit Nate Myles' forehead from point blank range he is that bad. Heaven help us if Tim Sim is our kicker.

I've only seen Simona kicking in the last WC… He wasn't great. Moses on the other hand, looks like a natural
