Why don't we start the rebuild NOW?

Madge said "our reserve grade side is going well". I assume that comment means we will see some of those players next week.

Why was Joey Leilua promoted when he had done little to warrant a recall. That was a blunder in terms of players being held accountable for poor performance. Nofo can go join him as a centre wing combo in NSW Cup.

Priority #1- get an organiser and decision maker out there. Brooks isnt it. We need an organising 7.

Priority #2- a ball playing lock. I'd even try Liddle at lock and put Simpkins at 9.

Priority #3- fix the wings and centres. BJ and Kepoa arent showing worth, Roberts and Nufo not much better at the moment.

Priority #4- do anything to keep Laurie and Doueihi happy.

We have enough roster turnover at end of season to try to address this. Even raid Penrith, Storm, Raiders and Roosters lower grades where good reserves are stuck behind even better firsts.

AND- I'm sad to say, tap Maguire to fall on his sword and get Morris / Toovey even consider peptide Flanagan.

I’m worried for Diane Laurie. He came to the club wanting to play first grade. He’s putting in the effort but the way the rest of the team is playing he’ll be another promising player never to play finals football. I hope the poor performance culture doesn’t rub off on him.

So so disappointing. I turned the TV off at half time and went to the gym. I needed to get some frustration out. I had high expectations at the start of the year, but it's all looking very similar to the last however many years. The Cowboys had a punt on some younger players today and got a lot of effort and energy from them. I would do the same - we will not make the 8 with the squad we put on the field today. Simpkin, Simpkins, Cini,... at a minimum they must be given a run.

Throw in Pascoe as well...he was one of them as well at the cafe drinking coffee with JTJ offering a position in a time of need...
This is why all need to be on the same page when it comes to the interest of the team and club...not just mates...

He did ,and obviously his judgement of NRL players in this club isnt what he had at Souths or SL...He seems to want to mould a team from this lot...they havent the talent to succeed and it falls on him...sack him and his roster as well and see how the club goes...in my opinion FURTHER backwards and into relocation if he cant do the job by the end of his contract...

You may well be right time will tell not sure if we need a new squad or just someone who can get the best out of what he has at his disposal re Holbrook and Griffin

Its the young blokes we have recruited that are our future and they get full marks for that.It will take time for them to mature but its no surprise that out lower grades are looking far healthier

Hope you are right I do think that maybe 40-50% will make it but believe we need to balance this with good experienced player’s

We're midway through yet another rebuild at the moment.

This time were dead wooding players that were purchased as a "Hail Mary" quick fix by previous coach.

These guys are youngsters that will come good.

This our only choice, otherwise were back paying overs for has beens...
