Why is Koro on the outer

I have been reading around people either say the wish Koro to play first grade and the next post say he is leaving the club.

Can some one give some more insight into this?

I'm not sure Koroibete will need to leave now that Tedesco is staying

The Tigers were looking at offloading Koroibete to meet the initial figure that Tedesco wanted

There's still some talk going around that he'll be let go at the end of the season. I think this move is a bit premature as we only have Richards for 1 more year and then he'll hang the boots up, and to be honest, we don't have any blockbusting or electrifying wingers in NYC at the moment, so our stocks look very thin at the end of 2015\. It only takes a an injury to Nofo (who is already playing with one shot knee) or Patty, and Koro goes back into FG.

I just think with his pace and ability to find the tryline, and given our lower grade wing options, we'd be mad not to keep him.

thought it was nofo's hammy? whats wrong with his knee though

I have always been a huge fan, just thought he was a bit raw and needed a stint in NSW Cup. He is developing faster than expected so we are in a predicament.

Hopefully we can convince him to stay, as Willow mentioned, he will be taking over Richards position once he hangs up his boots.

Yeah should be already playing in the NRL. Our best back in attack.

Ultimately it may not come down to whether we want to keep him or not. He should be playing NRL, he knows it and i'm sure his agent knows it, and with no shortage of competitors offering him a spot in the NRL next season, unless we can practically guarantee him a spot i think he'll seek opportunities elsewhere! :frowning:

Would be a tragedy. All he needs is someone to pass him the ball, and he hasn't had that in the NRL for a while!

His defensive reads are still awful. Obviously someone explained the idea of jamming in to cut off the play so now big Koro can be seen sprinting in at a thousand miles an hour to try and smash the opp halves. Often he gets nobody and his winger is unmarked. His attack is brilliant though so if he gets it right look out.

Mitchell Moses has engineered the pass to Koro in State Cup and look at the results. Moses and Koro both in first grade late this season or early 2015 looks good.

Market demand will find him at another club in 2015, this of course is just my opion, but their will be teams with far more cap space willing to offer Koro a heap more come 2015.

Teams like the Sharks and Raiders would love to get their hands om him, a potential crowd magnet and the Eels are having so much success with their Fijian flyer Iam sure a lot clubs think they could do even better with Koro

Don't know where you had that idea. Take a look at the strapping around his knee each week, it ain't good.

Would be a pretty big loss considering he is now our only real experienced winger at the club outside of Richards and Nofo. Unfortunately we just can't fit three into two on the wings.

However, if injury hits next season we are going to have a problem next season after also releasing Naiyaravaro.

If he does leave I could Simona pushed to wing if injuries occur and Seve/Lulia being promoted to centre or either Moltzen or Hoeter playing on the wing.

There's options but just not as good as Koro, especially in attack.

I really hope Moltzen gets back on the park very soon and kills the NSW Cup….This way another club could make a play for him in 2015...I just can't find a spot for Moltzen in our team, besides IMO he is the last of the "Marshall cancer" left in our team that we should eradicate.

I think it must have to do with 1 of 3 things

1) Trying not to get us into the position we found last year where our cap was used up playing too many in 1st grade
2) Koro is actively looking for somewhere to sign
3) Tigers are trying to reduce his price by keeping him out of 1st's unless absolutely necessary.

It's obvious Nofo is injured so I would think Potter would be selecting him if everything was ok. His defense is bad, but Nofo gives us nothing in attack with that bad knee.
