Why supporting the Tigers is absurd.

My son asks me endless questions (like any kid, I guess). One that has come up recently is "what do you love about the tigers?". It is something very hard to articulate…

1\. the great memories
2\. the pride in our players
3\. what is cooler than a tiger?

The other question he has been asking me is "why are the rabbits so good?". I just have to leave the room for that one. Can't be swearing in front of 6 year olds...

yep and it applies to all us fans of all clubs in all sports.
Have you ever tried to explain to a non sports fan why it matters that your team won/lost or why you support a particular team. ..
Once you are in tho there is no leaving!

It is called the absurdity and joy of being a passionate follower of a football team.

It's funny how my kids start crying when the tigers lose. They blame me for buying them a tigers jersey when they were born and i gave them no choice.
In their next breath they tell me that we will next week.
Now that's absurd

if the day comes, when wests-tigers are no longer in the comp, I will no longer show any interest in NRL and begin to polish the tech screws holding down the roof on my home, at least the view will be pleasant. :crazy :unamused:

I tried to find it to bump it to the top again.

The search features are not really working for me, if I cant find it, Ill re start the thread.
