Why wont the leaders give miller a chance.

The ball should be in the hands of our best playmakers. Right now that is Benji and Robbie. Do you think Widdop ever looks the dominant force ahead of Smith and Cronk??? Um, big time NO that. All Miller needs to do at this early stage of his career is join the dots together. I think he's done alright this first month. Made a few good runs, Scored a clever try, booted a field goal. Remember, we're not asking miracles of him. His time to shine will come. Right now he's just a supporting cast.

Correct Widdop is not dominant but Widdop can tackle and he doesn't need his centre coming in every time to help him.

The Tigers are definitely mirroring the Storm's spine (unfortunately on a much lesser scale :frowning🙂 Widdop is a supporting player like Miller, and what we need in our halfback is someone to simply control and initiate the plays and let Benji run them - but that's exactly what Farah does. So technically our halfback does not need to do anything erratic, simply put in some attacking kicks (relieve Benji of that all together) and carry the ball - draw defenders and offload.

A Miller and Farah kicking game would run well. However we are all aware of Anasta's kicking game and I would love to utilize it but not sure that a backrower will work that role effectively.

Anasta would honestly be our best option in 6 even as much as I would hate to see Miller drop back to state cup as I feel we are building him into a role. But We need Anasta's kicking game and expertise as Benji is slowly failing in that department and Anasta is wasted in the backrow.

So many options yet I still feel we are out of our depth.

Agreed. If Miller doesn't show something consistent soon, I think Potter will have no choice but to put Anasta at half. At least that will solve the 2nd row problem.
