Will Fitzy finally face the axe?

With troops returning… will Fitzy finally face the chop? Or will Sheens sacrifice another forward on the bench to fit him on lol

I am pretty confident Fitzy will be turning out for Balmain Ryde... unfortunately it's probably 18 rounds too late... but better late then never i guess.

great talking point kaiser, fitzy had his 15 seconds of stardom against the raiders… there is no place in the team for fitzy now, we dont need him. definately ryan and brown are ahead of fitzy.

if sheens is fair dinkum about WT making a run at the title our backline should look like this

mckinnon
ryan
daniela
lawrence
lote

benji
lui
\

bench should be

fifita
moors
dwyer

and then you have the choice of

ayshford, fulton or flanagan as your utility

we wont beat the top teams in penrith and dragons using 16 players…their forwards are to strong and its fruitless picking brown or fitzy on the bench

x2

x3

Three years of no finals since the departure of Prince. Since the re-signing of Fitzy, there is only one common denominator here.
No Fitz, No Finals.
Simple as that.
It doesn't take Einstein to work that out..
Fitzy has filled in at centre, fullback, wing, halfback, hooker and lock this year which is no walk in the park. He has been instrumental in where the WT sit on the ladder in 2010\. Deny it all you want..
He has been a great leader for all the young players coming through, leading by example. I know for fact the WT club recognise this, his team mates and his family all believe Fitzy is an integral part of the squad.
For those of you who don't remember this spectacular moment at Leichhardt Oval, here's a reminder…

Take note of how his team mates react. Can you spot yourself in the video??

I'm pretty sure he'll be in the team or on the bench. I have no issue with either.

I have a feeling Dwyer will be dropped and Fulton & Flanagan kept in the squad when all troops are on deck

The forward pack is pretty obvious .. at strength we'd be

8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Payten
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighno

14\. Fifita
15\. Moors
16\. Fulton
17\. Dwyer

18\. Flanagan

flannagan offers a bit more than dwyer at this stage

i think it's neck and neck .. lots of competition for spots

will be interesting to see how sheens uses the squad in the coming weeks

Apart from Ryan, I'd take Daniela over both Fithenry and Brown. I'm really impressed with his defence, and he runs the ball hard. He hasn't been tested under the bomb yet so that is still a question mark but overall I'd rate him as our 3rd winger

Love your reply Crouching Tiger, i'm so over everyone hating on Fitzy. He joined us in 2002 (his FIRST NRL debut), was in our 2005 GF & scored a TRY!!, he has played nearly every position for us under the sun, he's a great utility player. Ok he left for '08' & '09', BIG DEAL, get over it people. If Sheens can take him back then what's the prob.? ALOT of short memories here. Just cause a player get's older & new players come up doesn't mean we kick em to the curb, as good as potential our new boys have shown they learn alot from our experienced players.

Oh please. :deadhorse:

I hope Fitzy stays - what other player has generated this much Forum discussion??? Every week there's at least one Fitzy thread. Who will the serial Fitzy haters bag every week if he goes?
