miller was dreadful, i said all along he is not the answer, nor is putting molzten back there, bot our forward pack are terrible, koro runs the ball back hard and quicker than our pack. the knights hit the line we walk to the line, it is going to be a long hard season, think we may see the WOODEN spoon, me thinks.

miller dreadful :roll oh what did benji actually do? did he even give miller any ball to direct the team around?
between farah and benji theres no room for any halfback we have

I think Miller should get another chance but he was non existent in attack even with the little ball we had, but his defence was woeful. Benji had a solid game given we had no ball - he kicked well except for one bomb, he even made a couple of hit ups and he was the only one on either edge who showed anything in defence

I'll sneak in before the team announcement.

imo our front role are the only blokes who can hold their heads up high after last night.

The backrow was the worst perfromance i have ever seen in recent times.

Anasta a wise head who will help us when were under the pump? Most people didn't realise he was on the field until he started spilling easy balls late in the game. No wonder the Easts supporters were into this guy last couple of years.

l would dump the following in the order listed. Anasta, Moltzen, Utai, Ashford, Reddy and Fulton. I would warn Lawrence he is close to reggies.

I want to see Simona, Pettybourne, Thompson and Noufalama in the team come sunday.

Yesterday was Sheen's team(even the token back on the bench who then stuffed catching the next 40/20 that came along.) This week should be the coaches chance to go with the future.

GL, Go Tigers !

What a genius you are mate, i mean seriously. We had no ball whatsoever for 15 mins straight and had 32% possession altogether for the entire match, yet its the halfbacks fault. Wonderful observation mate, just magnificent

Ha Ha..GNR..Beautiful! And lets blame the wingers as well. Defiant,,drop FULTON??? I must have been watching a bloke that just looked like him doing all those SOLID tackles!!!

More for the size on fulton I would drop Anasta 50x before him.

He is our best defender in the "PAST" but missed a few in the last couple of games.

Not sure we can afford to carry a defender that offers zero hard yards in attack.

Breaks my heart to be honest. The backrow performance overall was pathetic last night.

BTW he was last on my list of people to drop. I named the players i want in so Liam would keep his place this week.

I remember a few years ago Phil Gould said that when a team has a horrible loss, where absolutely everyone played terrible, he wouldn't change the team much at all the next week. He said embarrassment and wanted to make up for a bad performance is huge motivation for professional athletes. If you change the team too much you lose guys who have that motivation. He said that he found this method was more effective then drastic changes.

In saying that Utai absolutely has to go.tedesco would be my first choice, then shift him to 1 in a couple of weeks

Definitely should wield it on Utai and Reddy. Bring in Nofo or as Willow said Mr T to the wing.

Pettybourne straight into the starting side, Anasta to the bench joined by Thompson.

As much as I'd love to replace Moltzen with Tedesco, that would be too much youth at the back so will have to wait.

You were still attacking Miller though. The fact you'd even think about attacking a 21 yr old halfback whose playing his 6th game when the forwards were totally abysmal shows who the goose is. So you are wrong with your ''Miller is dreadful'' and how you said it all along because last night wasn't the game to get any kind of guide to what kind of a player he is

we will see by seasons end he wont be in 1st grade, and i dont care how old he if hes there he old enough to cop a bagging.

That turned out to be a too predictable result! The Knights were always going to be in a better place than the Tigers compared to this time last year! Benny now has a Team he wants to compete with this season!
Mick has got to make do with what is already there, The Senior Players have got to put there hands up and admit it was a very poor performance and they got bullied by the Knights big time!
At least Mick knows where the line is now and how far down its drawn.
Tigers fans have got to be patient 1st half the season as you will get another couple of results like last night. It’s going to be a rebuilding process and the Board have got to back Mick properly to get the winning Team they and the Fans want!
The Fans have just got to grit their teeth and just support the Team through the process! Having been there watching my Team in the UK go down the tubes it aint easy but you just do it!

Well said! Potter has inherited this team. I'm interested to see how he recruits in the coming 12 months. Then the next 12 he'll spend building it as a team. This is a 3 year plan people. This forums gonna get angry between now and then, but its gonna be a looong year ahead.

I agree, Miller aint no first Grader..

Just watch the following players go around on the weekend..
Adam Reynolds Souths = 22
Aidan Sezer GC = 21

As for axes and chopping and changing, me bets Moltzen wont get relegated to the subbies… unless potter wants to loose his job, we know how emotional Benji is when it comes to his mates..

Bring in Marshall at half back since he wants the ball so much... and Anasta at 5/8.. Anasta got smashed last night.... though we can use his kicking game... benji cant kick a ball...
never has and never will, id even use Anasta for conversions... additionally maybe when Siro Junior is fully fit, we can slot him into a 5/8 role....
\
\
Other than that, bring in Bodene and Pettybourne, the rest steady as she goes.. and if we come last in 2013, its time the board gets the chop, why on earth did we give away 1 million dollars for Time Sheens, we could have used that money to buy a few more decent players... the issue lies with the current playing group, jesus wouldnt be able to get anything out of this mob..

Oh an as for the chop chop, get rid of Blocker and any other boofheads still living in the 80's Blocker wouldnt even make reserve grade in todays footy.. yet he always pops his head up..

Remember what they were saying in 2012, no one is listening anymore, the team is stale.. so on.. well what did we come last year 10th? geez we are going to count 2012 as the glory years down the road...

When is hte club going to learn to buy some decent players.. good under 20 players rarely = good first grade players.....

Anasta should get dropped to reserves and he should be playing as a backrower. That is his spot and if he is good enough he can get a first grade spot.

At the moment he isn't good enough so he doesn't get a spot anywhere.

Are you serious? He named the side less than 24 hours after the game, he literally just named the same side. Woodsy is still on the bench! The changes will come don't worry. Utai got hooked for a reason, i'm convinced that he's out teddy is in. Otherwise this coach is the worst thing the tigers have seen since alan jones.

We have a problem with our players. After the first round I realised how physical the players will have to be this year, our players look weak compared with other players. The coach will have to have the players trained to build up their physical strenghth. The idea is to get the opponents to loose the control of the ball, thats what our opponents are doing to us.Ball control is important and any disrespect in this area will lose us the match.
Our players are playing touch football whilts our opponents are playing so physical that made us loose control of the ball. Our players also lack the mongrel factor and played too gentlemanly like they are in the office, like afraid to get their hands dirty, except for some of the forwards, the rest had a quiet game. I hope we can do better the next match. If we don't improve, we will be mince meat.

Without getting into a debate about Miller, both thos players have been given the responsibility of running there teams as the senior Playmaker… Furthermore, both were also given great field position by their forwards.

In fact, I felt Sezer was the reason Titans didn't get the Sharks... He played with too much excitement and over-played his hand on many occasions. If he toned it down and played with more structure, I believe the Titans would of won.

It's pretty obvious Jacob is 3rd choice at the Tigers for being allowed to make decisions, and unfortunately, this goes against his strengths as he is a good organising Halfback.
