I'm really surprised 2 people have voted the 'no, I follow the Magpies not WT's'. I actually think they are both fictious votes.
As you would or should know if you read my posts.... I have followed Wests Tigers since 2000, but I also follow the Magpies, and I do that with a clear conscience, as the MAGPIES are still a real living team, and there is absolutely no reason why they should be deleted or re-named Wests Tigers.
I won't be going to the march as I am a 4-hour drive away.
I wouldn't go anyway as I feel you are being led astray by an ex-Balmain supporter that has shown open hostility towards the Magpies for at least 6 years, and I would imagine a lot longer than that.

But it's been stated on here hundreds of times the people from the Balmain side of the JV want to get rid of anyone that doesn't meet your approval.

Harry Trigaboff's name has been suggested many times to buy Wests.

Every Wests Tigers member did he going to the event. If you live outsiders of Sydney or have work,fine.

If you're a Wests Tigers member and choose not to attend you might as well just quit the club now. Either you're in the crocodile role or you're a traitor supporting Wests Ashfield.

What makes you so sure they want it to be Balmain?
Pretty sure most are happy with the status quo and just want WestsTigers to continue as an entity…. without the Magpie agenda.
 
I reckon I have a similar view to the majority.

Balmain in control would be a disaster
HBG IS a disaster
All the past models, Wests/Balmain were incompetent.

Richo was our hope.

We want different ownership. If HBG remains in control (without reforming their debenture system) I will honestly walk away. I’m a paid up 15 year member. I’m 1mm from walking away from the NRL completely.

Sorry but just because some rich people are on the Balmain side of the merger being possible candidates to buy the club doesn’t mean that it is a bring back Balmain secret plan. Wests Group Macarthur have also been spoken about, but you very much deliberately ignored that. Name some rich Western Suburbs fans who might want to buy the club. Apart from Wests Group, I bet you can’t right now.

It is just what it is. None of them want Balmain back, the only times Balmain is mentioned is from the media, who want to spin a story, but apparently you are also really good at that, so I can easily see how you are ignoring those facts.

PVL confirmed no matter who owns the licence it will be the license of WESTS TIGERS.

Now all fans just need to hope, wish and pray the owner isn’t HBG much longer. May their legal issues be long and exhausting.

Be good if the directors law suits add up to 50 million, HBG might sell to cover their arse, well we can only dream.

There will be media all week, Richo leaving , Benji considering his future, Luai looking to activate his clause. We need a few thousand to get out and stick it up them. Hand over the licence to someone worthy.

Haven't read much forum tonight but read earlier the possibility of Richo staying if an administrator is appointed.

I like that it give plenty of time to look under HBG's hood.
