Willie Mason [Discussion]

are they the same who said we would sign cayless/lima/tuquiri…2 outta 3 i guess. I heard he's going to japan.

I think he would go realy well at the Storm and Bellamy wouldnt take any crap from him, storm always seem to do well with there recruitment.

The boys on sports tonight all but confirmed that Willie will be playing for the Storm in 2010

Interesting… if that's the case Lima to the Tigers is probably a sure thing!

I'd like to think so too mate but I'm not getting my hopes up. I still think Lima will be staying at the Storm, I don't think they will throw big dollars at Mason.

Firstly - No one would be sending much $$$ Masons way anymore.

Secondly - Im Jeff Lima was onhis wayto the tigers , he would be here by now. Time to let go.

mason was on a stupidly backloaded contract, so roosters would still be paying a portion of this if he were released.

much potential wasted.
sometimes can't figure out footy players, especially one's like Big Willie who can achieve anything, yet will be remembered as wasted ability.
don't they realise its there one and only chance and wouldn't you wanted to be remembered as a person who gave it his all.
e.g a player like Benny Galea or Willie mason, I would have 17 players like Benny G anyday.

i hope big willie kills it at melbourne. he should look at the new testament more - revelations - because maybe something can be revealed for him at melboure.

What do you mean AHX??

Heard on nine news that the tigers are in talks with masons manager about willie possibly joint the tigers in 2010\. Apparently Benny Elias is behind the move.

What do you guys think about this latest development?

My missus said she heard something but wasnt sure.

Its funny, i was dead against it but when u actually hear it might happen u think…."might be good", then i thought about if for a few minutes and remembered the guy is trouble, he doesnt take a tough hit up in his own 1/4 and drops the ball when under pressure...............no thanx.

If true, I can't see Mason & Folkes mending fences. I'd rather Folkes. Plus Mason is a .. well, I'll just say, "unpleasant jerk", to save myself from being censored by mods.
