Mason now claiming his phone was lost at a shopping centre in France, picked up by another Aussie who started tweeting insults.

I hate it when that happens . No respect I say
I now feel so sorry for you now Willie :unamused:

No way i want him at the club he is just trouble im pretty sure even if he came begging at the tigers they wouldnt take him he should stay in fance and play rugby the NRL is better without him

I have always had no time for Mason as a person and little time for him as a player. In my opinion the only good thing he has ever done is not play for us let it stay that way

I do feel sorry for him if it's true about his phone.

Mine got stolen. Bloke racked up three grand worth of porn and subscribed to so much I receive it hourly now. Also messaged all of my female contacts asking them for a root, including my boss and mum.

Sounds funny but man some people are just turds!

How long ago was this supposed to have been going on for? I've just been through his tweets I've gotten up to the start of November and some of the language he uses is disgusting. To me if you lose a phone one of the first things you do is get the plan cancelled and the phone locked. As a professional athlete there are some things you shouldn't be saying. Dropping C bombs and F bombs left right and centre is totally unacceptable from a person in his position. Theres a time and a place to speak like that, Twitter is not the place for it where it can easily be read by women or children. Regardless of his footballing ability the bloke is an absolute moron and someone we don't need tarnishing the good reputation our club has worked so hard to create.

is it the same person making threads like this each time?
so and so wants to come back to the NRL, should we sign him?

i heard he more than likely will be joining his boy reni @ the eels,
don't think any other clubs are that interested.

he was a beast in his prime, see his brothers around a bit.

yep, it gets repetitive seeing threads like 'so and is looking for another club, should we sign him'. At the end of the day these threads are pointless

How is this a pointless thread ? I mean its December and a former aussie rep is looking for a club and it so happens that we have chased him in the past .
The last time he was in the nrl i was under the impression it was at the cowboys and from memory he was one of their better players in a struggling team.
I just feel that he may be worth a shot thats why i started the thread .
if you feel its a pointless thread then cool thats soemthin i disagree with .

He played very well at the Cows. His go-forward was outstanding. Something we terribly lack.

He is a million times better than Bell, (Bell is a VERY average player) but signing him would cost cash and why have Bell and Mason on the books when we could have kept an absolute machine in Bryce Gibbs or a 2012 Origin rep in Andrew Fifita.

I dont think were even going to go near willie mason just leave him away.

just sayin...

Referring to your comment Balmain Bug, about buying Bell and possibly Mason VS keeping Gibbs and Fifita.

Whilst I agree that keeping them would have been better for next year, I think part of the reason for letting Fifita go is his attitude. I remember going to the open training session before the finals game V the Dragons and his attitude for someone hoping to play was atrocious - especially before a finals game.

I know his future was already sealed at this stage, but I still feel it was unprofessional of him considering the team had not been finalised.

i think its pointless to talk about because he wouldn't even be the slightest smudge on the the tigers radar

Fifita an Origin rep in 2012 :roll

One of your best Bug!

I wasn't aware a south island v north island of tonga origin game was planned for 2012? Good luck in that one, Andrew.
