I've heard we are close to sorting it out, and if tiger99 says it's still on the cards then it still is, he is closer to the actual team to what I am, all I hear is office talk

Hahahaha big Willie has taken to Twitter about the Cashmere signing …

Someone asked Josh Massoud, Mason and Gibbs what they think of the signing. Some Penrith fan said that Cashmere has a cleaner record than Mason. Massoud replied "Yes, in terms of NRL and rep jerseys!".

Mason capped it off with a cracker. "I think they chose him cos I've pissed in public twice and he's only once!"
 
Lol at smoking gun he keeps saying were going to sign him this week or next week haha wasting our time all they way our ceo confimed it so did tim sheens lol that were not talking to him anymore and smoking gun keeps saying we are still in talks lol.

Actually when Brian Noble took over coaching the Wigan Warriors Brian for some reason he took a dislike to Pat and relegated him to the reserves for the best part of 3/4's of a season and I'm sure around that time that Pat had itchy feet and was pretty unhappy with his treatment.
Karma reigned supreme as injuries saw Pat thrust back into the Wigan side as their saviour and put mud on Nobles face as he absolutely killed them once given a chance.
The rest is history, Brian Noble can't get a shot at coaching an amateur side these days while Pat has been the Man Of Steel, Premiership winner and probably World Club Champion (taking a guess here!).
And of course represented Ireland in the 2008 World Cup and kicked them to the Quarter Finals.

Been reading this thread for ages… Im still hopeful that we will sign Mason... We need him.... We need some go forward from a big body like Galloway. Imagine them 2 as starting props ready to go, especially if we had Mason fired up and playing with a point to prove. I was very disappointed that we didnt sign him and also very disappointed at how the whole affair was handled. I hope the door hasnt been shut completely on him.

Bit of a slap in the face for Mason though isn't it with the signing of Cashmere? Would he still want to come here if he was given an offer now?
