Wests Tigers is giving one lucky Member a chance to win the ultimate celebration – the opportunity to host the ‘Welcome Lote Tuqiri to Wests Tigers’ party.

Held in conjunction with The Daily Telegraph, a 2010 Wests Tigers Member will have the exclusive opportunity to host Lote Tuqiri and his family at their home in the build up to Wests Tigers round one blockbuster against Manly at the Sydney Football Stadium on Monday, March 15.

The Wests Tigers member will host the party during the day on Saturday, March 13, with the club taking care of catering requirements.

Lote’s return to Sydney this week to begin a three-year stint with Wests Tigers will attract plenty of attention. Imagine the hype and excitement when Lote comes to your place to meet your family and a select group of friends.

The competition is the most spectacular Members Only promotion ever held by Wests Tigers and highlights how valuable members are to the club.

Entries close at the end of business on Wednesday, March 10\. The winner will be announced in The Daily Telegraph on Friday, March 12.

Current 2010 Members and those supporters who ‘Step Up’ and become a member by the close of business on March 10 will be entered into the competition.

To enter, Wests Tigers Members need to state in 25 words or less why they want to host the ‘Welcome Lote Tuqiri to Wests Tigers’ party.

**Host Lote Tuqiri's welcome party**

THERE are plenty of questions surrounding Wests Tigers star Lote Tuqiri's return to the NRL and Tigers fans now have the chance to get answers from the former Wallabies winger himself.

Any of the joint-venture club's 5000 members could be hosting Tuqiri's "welcome to the Tigers" party at their home, thanks to a competition launched together today by Wests Tigers and The Daily Telegraph.

The lucky member will be able to invite friends, family and neighbours to help host a street party with all catering and party goods to be provided by the Tigers.

"There was so much goodwill and enthusiasm from our supporters and members about his earlier than expected arrival that we wanted to give our members a chance to welcome him personally," Wests Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys said yesterday.

"Lote thought it was a great idea and he was really happy that there were thousands of members who want to welcome him to the club."

The party will take place on Saturday night, just two sleeps ahead of the Tuqiri's expected return to NRL football.

Tigers ticketed members are asked to explain in 25 words or less why they want to host Tuqiri's welcome back to the NRL party.

The winner will be announced in Friday's edition of The Daily Telegraph.
