Windows 8 - Consumer

Anyone got a copy of this yet? Downloading it now, really keen to fire it up and see it working.
Considering dual booting, but unsure. Anyone done this yet?

alpha preview showed promise, but crashed too much for me.

I like the metro idea, and would be interested to see if the concept goes across multiple screens.

Rather than dual boot it i'm going to install it on a separate drive, and just use the device boot options to select it - I'm not all that keen on it until it has proper DirectX support for gaming.

I downloaded it over the weekend and hope to install it today on a computer at work.

As far as dual booting is concerned I followed this guide for the developer preview http://www.hanselman.com/blog/GuideToInstallingAndBootingWindows8DeveloperPreviewOffAVHDVirtualHardDisk.aspx, which worked well.

Just remember it is still a beta and more than likely you won't be able to upgrade to the released version, so any dual booting you setup will have to be removed and redone when they launch.
