Winning Back Respect.

Guys, don't get upset by other people's commentary on our team. They're right. Two years ago we were favourites with our player roster. We didn't make the top 8\. Last year we weren't rated and came near the bottom. It didn't matter that we had a huge injury toll, it just showed we had no depth. We haven't recruited top liners this year.

There are plenty on here tipping us to miss the top 8 this year. I'm one of them. I have been super critical of our defence for a few years now.

The shining light for me this year is that our defence appears to be better. This is based solely on only 2 trial games.

Until we start winning regularly against the better sides we don't rate a mention. Nuff said.

If we're as ordinary as you believe, "they" won't "mention" it, so there's nothing to get "upset" about. What's your point? You want our team to win more regularly? Well…..don't we all? Maybe just get back on here at some later stage and tell us when to get upset. Or not.

I agree, this club and this team needs to earn some respect. We deserve to be favourites for the spoon based on the complete rabble we have been on and off the field the past 2 seasons. Sneakily I think we can earn this respect, however its time for actions and not words. Plenty of guys, plus the coach have plenty to prove so I am hoping to see a lot of committed performances.
