Met Lars before by chance and his dad another time. Good bloke born and raised in Oslo but dad is from Perth. Unfortunately TV only showed them for like 15 seconds though.

Fun fact is that he initially competed in high level orienteering representing Norway at the Junior World Champs in 2021 in Turkey.
His sister Pia is the current European champion in sprint orienteering although she represents Norway instead of Australia unfortunately. (but just like XC Skiing orienteering a lot more popular in Scandinavian countries so if you’re making those teams you get a much better set up).

How cool is it for OZ to have 3 skiers out of the 8 in the final of men’s moguls! Then for Cooper Woods to win in it in that way…..unbelievable!! Seems like such a good and genuine bloke as well - very emotional to watch!
