Woods Dropped

Ridiculous decision even if we win its an unfair call. When a second rower returns, he replaces a second rower….NOT A PROP!

I don't agree with the decision but after last week's loss the team need to step up as a collective unit and be counted tonight. The forwards have a massive task in front of them and hopefully they are up to the challenge. Reality is, Woods won't be used every week unless the props drop like flies. He will play his fair share of games, but the club will bring him along slowly, same goes for Murdoch-Masila when he returns.

I have to hold back…......................................but gee i dont want to. Sheens can coach, he just cant pick a team to save himself.

Nailed it. Sometimes he shows how great he is as a coach. Unfortunately he also gets to choose the team.

Maybe he is looking after Woods. Souths have a big and agressive pack. They would have tried to sort him out. Woods will live to fight another day.

What rubbish. Reality is a second rower should replace a second rower, not a prop. This bringing him up slowly excuse doesn't wash, if Dwyer plays in the front row tonight I will be livid.

I imagine Shirnack will be playing front row. Still, it doesn't make it any better, Shirnack will be just as ineffective up the middle.

I will join in on the Sheens' bashing but Dwyer showed his worth tonight. A very bad start, but as he gained confidence wow HE KILLED IT!!!!

Great move by Sheens. Best coach at introducing talent into first grade. Knows when to pkay them and when to give them a rest. Was always the right decision for Woods long term development to give him a break.

Your an idiot. Sheens is a champion coach and yet again he proves himself.

And yes I am calling myself an idiot.

WOW, read back through this whole post my friends. There is a lot of humble pie to be dealt around. Does it taste nice?

Truthfully I love a bit of humble pie.

Sheens made a great call, its all about horses for courses. Woods is going to be great but with the team struggling you dont throw him in against such a good pack as Souths, Rotation is the name of the game

I must admit I was a little shocked when I saw him running around in the under 20's. From what I saw it looked like dropping him played on his mind as he had a ordinary second half, missing a few easy tackles and not hitting it up like I've sen him do in first grade. We lost by 2 points and it was from a try where he left a gaping hole in the middle and made no attempt to close it up!!

Anyway, in the end Sheens knew what he was doing and is the reason his the longest serving coach in the game. In the end Dwyer wins MOM we flog Souths and everyones talking up the boys. Give credit where its due because if the result was the other way around he would be getting a caneing on these forums!!

The call was wrong. Woods should have stayed. Schirnack or Dwyer had to make way for him. As it turned out Dwyer had a good game like we know he can have. Woods has been more effective than Schirnack and should have been there.
