Woods - most metres of any forward in NRL

I know Woods has been a consistent standout in a poor team this year, but I didn't realize just how good he's been going. According to nrl.com, he has the most metres of any forward in the nrl in 2012\. And to top it off, of the top 10 forwards with most metres, he has also made the most tackles!!! (note triple exclamation mark). Even more impressive is the fact his metres have been coming behind a forward pack that has been regularly dominated, bar maybe 5 games mid season. At 21 he is showing the other forwards how to play. Outstanding. I just hope the Tigers poor club form doesn't cost him a chance at representative honors.

I can't think of a player who has been so consistently good from a young age. I think he has turned our pack around and we don't need too many more forwards to have a pack that can match it with any in the comp.

He should be added to the Kangaroos squad at the end of the season based on his form this year.

He deserves it. Things could have went a lot worse if he went down injured this season.

In a poor season I honestly think we deserve to pick up 3 positional awards. Beau for winger, woods for prop and farah for hooker, very happy with those 3 as well as Fulton throughout the whole year. However I think that Fulton should be playing lock, he doesn't have the hole running ability to play wide however he's top 5 defensive backrowers in the game. Having Fulton in the middle would help tighten up the ruck
