Woods

Farah is just like Woods i reckon. Neither are super aggresive but they work had, put in 100% and as a result are amazing players. Woods will make origin this year or the next (but with these selectors who knows….) and wont let it go unless he is injured.
 
How can u compare the 2, completely dif players.

Also FYI, it took petro 3 yrs to make his first rep team.

Woods has done in less,

Although he has so many positives, he also is a rookie and has many areas of his game that still need to be fixed, especially silly penalties,

He has the size and skill other teams should fear him, they don't!

They are weary if his skill, however is almost a guarantee of 1 penalty per game, this isn't up to origin standard.

Love the bloke, his time will come!

What, he's not aggressive, please do people under stand the game or not. Heres a Question, Is Tamou aggressive? he plays origin. The reason the cowboys are duds is because both there origin props have no passing game or offloads. Woods has it all. Amen.

I don't know why I'm even in this discussion, I want woods in my origin team, however I think Tamou and fifita, Are in front.

I personally think merrin backrow off the bench, and gallen to the backrow.

Would love woods to be to be in team however would want fifita and Tamou to start, no need for renoylds, we have Lewis and bird, who can cover everything.

I was just saying if I picked my origin team, those 2 are picked in the front row first due to the nature of the game!

Weekend footy and origin, are completely different, and footwork won't always save you, with 3 or 4 in a tackle!

Go woodsy! Show me your mongrel!

I think we all know he has been a victim of our own teams poor performance,

If we had more players around him performing and had a higher win ratio!

He would be right in the mix.

Aaron Woods is just class. For a young man in his position that is so extremely unique. He'll play origin soon enough guys and girls, relax.

All I can say is that he busts his hump every week without fail and for a prop that is to be expected. In the old days a prop didn't really hit his stride until he was in his mid-20s and so for this young bloke the sky is the limit. As an old prop/second-rower myself I really like his game and it will only improve if he has hard-working blokes around him in the engine room.

Yes, he's a star for sure. But, if he could only get through a game without giving away a penalty!! Man, he knows how to get the refs riled.
 
Woodsy showed enough mongrel against the broncos when we last met.

Sam Thaiday will agree and wants payback after their last battle.

Can't wait for this game , NSW can wait for Aaron , once he starts for the blues he won't blow it and will be first choice upfront every year.

Agree 100%.

I don't get the aggression call. If that means giving away a dumb penalty or two then it is a negative not a positive.
 
I thought he had another great game. He is good at offloading and just gains metres in attack. He defended well yesterday and as always had a high work rate.
 
The MOM by a long way..and his defence near the line also ..saved at least 1 try with last man defence and back there to knock the ball down to supports….great game.

People want the crazy aggression..look at how many times when he took the ball up..it took 3 defenders to stop him..thats aggression...
 
Woods played well and he worked hard in his game. Will definitely improve and become a better player. he is a star of the future.
 
Woods has been playing great footy for us, week in, week out. However, he did have that one poor game, just before the origin team was being named. Then you had Fifita who has come up with some ridiculous stats at the same time. Unfortunate for Woods, but I am sure his time will come.
 
To excel in an underperforming team makes him even more deserving of a start in Origin.

A travesty for him but blessing for WTs.

also didnt anyone see what fifta did to slater with the game on the line,dumb play and that kind of thing at such a import moment in the game isnt needed
 
Woods just has to play his normal game and he will blow minds. Being surrounded by the extra talent should see him play with more confidence so he shouldn't be afraid to use that handy offload of his. Footwork at the line and quick play the balls. Farah will tell him exactly what he needs to do. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets through 150m and 40 tackles tbh.
