Worst Ever Season ?????

Looking through the records we are headed for our worst ever season.

Even in Terry Lambs coaching days 2001 & 2002, we finished with 7 wins in one season and 9 wins and a draw in the other season. In 2003 we had 7 wins and in 2000 under Junior we had 11 wins and 2 draws. 2004 we had 10 wins for the season.

ATM with 6 wins so far this season things are looking grim. And lets be realistic, on form we don't have another win in us.

Probably our worst but that's due to a lot of injuries and a new coach, but I think we can beat the dragons this week

Compared to the seasons of magpies and Balmain in the 1990s - not as bad..

Certainly bad in the history of WT.

Never had the spoon and we should keep that record clean

As long as we don't win the spoon I will be content with the end of the season. We can put this whole year behind us and attempt to move on.

Agree with you there

Maybe the worst win/loss wise and definitely the worst injury wise, but I reckon the year WT only needed to fall over the line against Newcastle to get into the 8 and they completely dogged it and finished 9th was the worst for me. Maybe someone can enlighten me on which year that was, I have intentionally forgotten it.

2007 all we had to do was draw the game,we couldnt win a golden pt game that year, thats why i hate golden point,as it turned out broncos got in the 8 on for and against :unamused:

I see this year as having a lot more positives than some of those Lamb years.

Yeah I agree….can see a light at the end

The young players give me hope, theyre hungry, talented...just need to be taught confidence in D and watch them kill it

Yep. Can't wait to see some wins come our way and shut up some mates. Also, hopefully we can be biggest improvers next 2-3 years. :sign:

Undoubtedly worst year ever as Wests Tigers …. Plenty worse than this as Wests Magpies like 1984 when they only beat Illawarra ! Unfortunately I can't see much improvement next year but we live in hope. 😛ray:

In the past, when the footy season was going downhill fast, I would say "bring on the cricket season". No respite there, either!

Bring on 2014, a good pre-seaon, win the first 4-5 games with no injuries and things will become very bright. We need a good start to the season.
