Worst Goal Kicker

I think after last nights efforts in the City v Country games it would have 2 go 2 Nathan Merrit, i know they werent the easiest of kicks but none of them ever looked likely at all. How the hell did he kci that Field Goal in heritage round at the Cricket Ground in 2009 has got me bewildered. Luck for souths tjhey have Issaac Luke to kick goals next year, then i dont really care abouth souffs anyway, thought????

Hope he kicks for souths next year, would be good, but surely the selectors should have picked some at least who can kick goals in the team, would make a bit of sense at least. Had the footy tab going 10 times for pick the round and you get spastic kickers like that or jarryd haynes brain explosion to chip and chase with 30 seconds to go, i know that the trophy would have remained with country had it been a draw, but fair suck of the sav, it was never going to work, ever. And for people to be talking Jarryd Hayne up as a possible origin spot this year, they have to be kidding, parramatta have been playing like busteds, theres no way he should be picked, Dugan would leave him for dead.

TBH I don't even know why Merritt was even in the city side. He is far from a representative footballer. The fact he has spent his career in the backline at Souffs and Cronulla are testament to this. At least he got the shot he said he would never get because selectors were "racist" and it basically vindicated their non-selection of him. His performance in that game is exactly why he was never selected previously!

I can't believe that City had no one better at their disposal.

Scott Porter wasnt real flash either against the chooks either. Did you see the goals he was missing as well, couldnt kick to save his life.

Still think Daly Cherry-Evans is pretty ordinary. He misses kicks that Marshall puts over.

Dont know why Jamie Lyon doesnt kick for goal, would like to know his kicking percentage what actually is. On another matter, cant understand why Braith Anasta's kicking for goals either instead of carney, carney is a better kicker than Anasta. What do you guys and girls think???
