That's the difference between NSW & Qld right there… State before Club Football, C'mon Queensland!!!

So you prefer to support a state of origin win than a wests tigers premiership? Wow…...2005 must have been awful for you.

Cowboys arent Queensland, and considering the Maroons lost in 2005, a GF Victory was very pleasing.

FTR, I hate the Broncos with a passion!!! :smiling_imp:

I think what a lot of you NSW blokes don't understand from a Qld point of view how painful it was to see NSW come up here pre Origin with 4-5 Qlders in the side and flog us

My Dad still raves about 1971 NSW v Qld state match at Lang Park when the NSW blokes were handing out left ,right and centre and every time A Qlder retaliated he would get sent off We ended up packing 3 man scrums

And when you began treating Interstate football with contempt by moving it to Leichardt instead of the Cricket Ground

I'm sorry but the NSW supporters and the NSWRL brought the Qld wrath on themselves and they are going to wear it until the end of time

I can't speak for all Qlders but that is were my passion for Qld comes from QUEENSLANDER

Queenslanders are the only ones who would prefer an over-hyped, once a year, 3 game BS showpiece over a 26 week full season year in, year out competition to decide who is the best team. Even if NSW were winning more, and we have won lots in the past, a SOO series win rates nowhere near the chance of me witnessing my team winning a premiership. It's clear that the whole NSW v QLD rivalry BS is a one-sided affair, created in the dark recesses of the cane toads' heads

C'mon Happy - if Robbie, Lawrence and Woodsy get selected, surely there would be a little tinsy, tiny bit of you that would want NSW to win - just so our guys can get the credit for making us competitive again :stuck_out_tongue:

If they get selected I hope that Cam Smith ,Inglis or Hodges and Matt Scott absolutely smash them

They stick that Blue jersey on and they become my mortal enemy

Just like the rest of chihuahuas south of the border :smiling_imp:

I pray for the third man in to become the third man in

Wow. As a Tigers fan 1st, I root for all Tigers players. I go for Australia, but damn I always want Marshall to carve us up because club football is so much more important. Hoping some Cowboys, Storm, Broncos and Rabbitohs spastics to smash our players is strange.

**That's the difference between NSW & Qld right there… State before Club Football, C'mon Queensland!!!**

So true!! All those years of being smashed by their own players.

Queenslanders love origin more than us. I love origin, but I love the tigers more.
although, with so many tigers being touted for origin this year, the spark may be re -ignited…..................

Love ya to death Flip , but that sounds like response from a person who has been on the end of 6 series defeats who is brushing off the pain and the humiliation of being totally dominated

HaHa, I can only speak for myself but we can take it, after all its only 6 weeks of hell, then back to normal, and Queenslanders can bask in another 12 months of origin bliss

Ummmm (thinks long and hard)…Nah! I'd feel the same if we were winning, mate. I'd give you Queenslanders a bit of stick, for sure, but it wouldn't mean that much to me in the long run. If it turned out that, in some strange twist of fate, NSW had to lose another 6 Origin series for WT to win a premiership, then so be it!

On the whole Origin just means more to Queenslanders. I spent a lot of time in WA and it's the same "stick it up them" attitude over there when it comes to state sport. Spite is a great motivator and they have plenty of it. As a New South Welshman I don't hate Queenslanders. I find the vitriol odd and can't bring myself to reciprocate. They feel they live in the best place on earth and good for them, it's nice to like where you live. I love where I live, I just don't feel compelled to despise other people for not being from my neck of the woods. I've been to Queensland many times for many reason and by far the best place in the entire state for me is the departure lounge at the airport. But that's just my opinion.

Cultured Bogan, Sandor Earl & Evarn Tuimavave are Kiwis and Jaimin Lowe is a Q'lander so there's 3 more players to reconsider in your team.

But NSW didn't care pr-Origin because we knew it was a farce. We took no joy out of beating QLD with their own players, so your hatred is unfounded. When QLD won the first game, only then did we take interest.
