Seriously though , it's not often you get to play the roosters when they're playing bad .
We had our chances but we're too DUMB !

Mate I really don't think it was the worst performance by a long shot. The Roosters only scored half the amount I was expecting them to rack up! Considering our opposition, I thought the boys played really well defensively, but just made too many silly mistakes in attack, at crucial times - pushing passes that are just not on, dropping balls, kicks out on the full and unnecessary cheap shots only puts more pressure on a team that is already well behind the eight ball talent-wise.

We had every chance of winning that game, but for those brain explosions and yet another lop-sided penalty count. What possession we did get, we did not respect.

Spot on Flip. The stupid mistakes and penalties killed us. Not much too add to that realy.
I wasn't surprised by it, but was hoping for something better.

Just home from the game,I thought our defense for most of the game had plenty of intensity and sting. It also held strong for long periods. It was all the basic school boy errors and lack of discipline that killed us. Big Patty three coach killers in the first half, Moses threw a few under ten passes, Brooks was not much better and Naigama just keeps getting found wanting.

Far from our worst game, but for guys who train full time and are being paid big money they sure fall down week in and week out with the basics of the game. I now know why Taylor had them playing one out football for half the year, because they are incapable of passing the ball!!!

Roosters never got out of 2nd gear .

The Roosters maybe felt sorry for JT and didn't want to inflict a massive scoreline on there ex assistant Coach.

Lol, Yep that's it FT. Thank God for small mercies! 😛ray:

Nah mate , it was a dot to dot :roll

The best thing out of tonight for me was CS.

He was far from the best player but he actually put in for periods. Maybe he can play footy?

He did better tonight. Maybe he's been getting tips from Sirro senior… :ugeek:

Nowhere near our worst performance .
Although most name the game against the Cowboys I think our worst game by a mile was the first one against the Eels where the excruciating boredom was only broken in the last ten minutes.
DUMB - as others have said, but most of the guys tried hard.

the good thing about tonights game was sironen playing on the the right hand side of the field.we desperately need a right hand second rower and maybe Curtis is the answer.

Forget the halftime scoreline, we were down right pathetic tonight. We did more wrong tonight than we have in any other game this year. Dropped ball, wrong defensive decisions, worst passing I've ever seen, ill discipline, we had it all tonight.

Usually i finish game and go through the players and only come up with a couple that sucked, a few that were ok and some that were good or better. Tonight if u go through every player it isn't pretty.

Teddy was outstanding.
Nofo and Naqaima had some really good moment mixed with some shocking moments.
Simona was good.
Pat was close to the worst individual performance for the year.
Moses had his worst game ever and Brooks was poor.

Taupau sucked and should have been sent off for a deliberate dog shot.
Lovett…well my god, what do u say.
Siro was ok.
Woods was ok.
Halatau not real good.
Sue tried but got owned.

Our bench had nothing.

Tonight was real bad.

Must have watched a different game than me King.

Halatau was very good.

Lovett defended ok but useless in attack.

Woods was good.

Sue no good.

Sironen, Brooks very ordinary. Those no look passes of Brooks are killing us.

Moses tackled better and if they pass him the ball on a couple of occasions, he could have scored a couple of tries.

Richards was shocking

Marty was ok until he had a brain snap.

The teams defence was very good but the bigger forwards and the penalties were to much to overcome.

There is nothing wrong with this team that a couple of big hard forwards and a couple of backs would not fix.

And a hand full of glue would have helped.

Agree with that except Sironen - I thought his defence was really good tonight and he did ok with the ball.

lol what? It wasn't even the worst performance this week!

That was a great effort, it would have been easy for that to stretch out to 59, particularly when Marty went off.

The roosters and all the ball, all the field position and all the calls. They were full strength and we were missing out captain, the guy who's been close to our best forward in recent weeks and lost Lawrence on the 3rd tackle.

We put in and the defense was actually pretty good. I thought the roosters threw plenty at us tonight, they were on. Our first contact was good and there seemed decent communication. We were never going to win but if pat kicks that's goals its 20-12 ( 3 tries to 2) with 15 to go and we make a game of it imo.

I saw more positives tonight then I have in weeks

Not our worst performance but still not at an acceptable level.things will not improve much till we get a coach who can use our strengths in a game instead of talking constant dribble after a loss saying we are improving

Didnt see Lovett standard shocking one on one miss for a try? At this level it isn't good enough to miss a tackle like that every game. Once in a while you can forgive, but every game he misses a crucial one on one with a poor effort. Maloneys try I think it was. Take a look at his effort.

IMO Kev is one of the biggest problems In our team. I understand he does a few things good in attack, and comes up with a decent tackle or 2, but it is nothing most wingers are expected of doing consistantly. He's slow, can't take a high ball, cant defend on the goal line and gets more trys scores against his wing than any other wing in the comp. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and I'm all for little pocket rockets I n the NRL, but I seen at least a couple of missed tackles made by Kev that eventually led to tries.

As i heard someone say on Facebook.

Tigers should worry less about their hair and more about tackling.
