The OP and some others have valid points, no need to use names.

We are an ordinary team at holding onto leads or seeing out tight games, we always have been. I don't really care how young the side was tonight, we need to get better. I don't want the old Tigers to re-emerge where teams like Doggies knew they could reel us back in, knew they were never truly out of the game.

It's a shame because they really should come out of the game feeling confident at taking the grand finalists to golden point but the nature of the defeat won't give them that. The Dogs are a really difficult side to hold out at the end. Remember round 1 they nearly came from the clouds to win. No biggie really.

We haven't been beaten by 56 yet this year so I reckon we've come a long way.

Tonight's failure shows me we have not come very far at all. Leading 24 - 6 with 25 minutes remaining should be a given for any decent side. This could be a defining loss in relation to confidence and mindset. Obviously Brooks and Moses don't know how to close out a game. :bash

Angry tiger / your name says it all. Get a grip. We have been extremely competitive with the two grand finalists after two wins. This is a massive improvement on where we were at the end of last season.

To be honest, we did extremely well considering the circumstances… A Team that has been in the hunt for he finals for the last few years vs a team that hasn't made the finals... Then look at the fact that we had 3 too experienced players out. They had one player out. Now look at the fact that we had our most inexperienced side ever to take the field. They nearly had twice the experience of us out on the field...

Yes it is dissappointing to lose to them. But it wasn't the juniors that lost us the game... We lost by one point... I'm not blaming Keith.. But anyone who is criticizing the loss should look to the one point in the game that caused us the loss... That was the only point that shouldn't have occurred... It was a senior player who allowed such a stupid mistake to occur, not a junior player... If there was a turning point in the game, that was it... That's not acceptable from a player of his calibre.....
