The lock position has changed so much over the last 10-15 years. It used to be like a second 5/8 who could also do some work in the middle of the field and a lot of cover defense.

Now they are basically a third prop.

I'm today's game galea would be strictly an 11 or 12\. However when he came into grade it was a very effective ball playing lock forward.

Loved Galea but Halatau played a very big part in our run to the GF in 2005.

Picking a fantasy team i would have had Darren Senter at lock, Farah at hooker obviously

Yeah Hobbo played for half the teams in the comp

Canberra ,Souths ,Cowboys ,WT's , Warriors ,Hunter Mariners and Balmain before the WT's amalgamated

He is now a player agent I believe
