WTForum Tipping Comp

Not sure, we haven't even looked into it tbh… new year, hopefully means more time aye... but rarely the case.

The good thing about picking margins as well is that it allows people to stay in the hunt despite being a few points back due to the chance of additional points.

Perhaps we should put it up to vote if we do bring it back next season :wink:
 
i loved it last year - the competition here was also of a high regard - think i ended up coming 7th here or something overall, whereas on the other 4 tipping contests i was in i came top 3 minimum.

Congrats, I actually didn't use our one last year lol… This year if we bring it back, I will though :slight_smile:

Not for everyone.

I actually thought being able to tip scores, margins etc made it more interesting…especially being able to see how close others had gone as well after the round had completed.

Think it was possible to just easy select an option without entering a margin

Lasts years worked really well I thought

If I was to add something maybe giving points for a perfect round (8/8)

Guys if we can do it it would be great but if it is going to be too much work and drama no issues
 
maybe thereis a market for both forms.

Margins - For the Hardcore of us
Standard Win - for the troglodites like me
 
It's now down to 8 days from the season kick off and it's apparent that the Forum will not be conducting a Tipping comp for 2012, I know that there were a few issues with last years comp but please, there must be someone out there that is IT savvy enough to host a straight out tipping comp without the margins etc etc, C'mon!.
 
I could set up an Oztips one if folk are interested.

I am not 100% sure but I believe the previous comp put to much of a drain on forum alloted resources

Yeah I would be interested but its not going to be worth it if only 30-40 people are left at the end
Your call Smeg Maybe any one interested should let Smeg know as its not going to be worth his while setting it all up if no one is interested
 
Why don't we just start a Wests Tigers Forum tipping comp at:

You can create a comp there pretty easily.
