X-box 360 remotes

has anyone had a problem with their x-box 360 remote.
currently , the x-box button and the start button do not work :unamused: :frowning:
any ideas what to look for :question: :question:
once I get a torx 8 driver bit to pull it apart

Sorry dude, I'm using the new XBox slim minus the remote. Never had any issues with my old XBox 360 remote.
