The Canberra Raiders have released winger Drury Low from the remainder of his contract with the club and he will take up a new contract with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs effective immediately.

Low was signed until the end of 2012, however the Raiders granted him an early release from his contract so he could take up the position with the Bulldogs.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said he wished the Raiders junior all the best for the future.

“Drury has been with the club since 2008 where he played SG Ball and was a member of the Toyota Cup Grand Final premiership Furner said. “We wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his time at the club.”

Sound move. Sandor Earl is moving to Canberra and will be in the mix for a first grade spot amongst Lee and Pelo… Low doesn't really have any opportunity there.

The way Bulldogs backs have been going down this year he's more likely to get a start there.

Best mid season signing is Fa'iaso to the Storm

I really rate him Good footwork at the line Handy defender

Would of looked good in a Tigers jersey

Best mid season buy for mine is Sam Perrett to doggies. You have your last piece in the puzzle for a bulldogs premiership bid.

Perrett is all class. The Chooks are mad for letting him go.

From what I've read the Roosters were reluctant to let Perrett go but it all came down to the other 'Super Coach' in Brian Smith, Sam wasn't a fan of Smith and Smith obviously wasn't a fan of Sam's.
How many players have to walk out on a club to avoid being a victim of Smiths diatribes, in the Regular workplace it is considered bullying but it appears in RL circles that the coach can vilify and demean players at will.
I think that if you're a betting person you would get on the market ASAP to see what a Doggies double will pay!.
