3\. We are hot (vs. Dogs) and cold (vs. Roosters). We can be hot vs the good teams.
4\. Gareth Ellis farewell
5\. Players will be pumped after the dismal display last week
6\. Timmy will use the win to take the pressure off
7\. Storm may rest players

We will win this game.

And miracle of miracles, NZ get serious and pump the Raiders in NZ (unlikely but possible) and we make the 8.

The thing that is frustrating is that we shouldn't even be talking about this. Instead we should be talking about where abouts in the top 4 we will be. It's been said time and time again but this season is a massive failure considering the roster we have.

We have played the Storm 8 times at Leichhardt Oval and won 6 times.
We frustrate the Storm with our goal-line defence.
Adam Blair will play his best game all year.

The Raiders will get touched up by the Warriors playing their last game and the BLACK, GOLD & WHITE TIGERS will finish in 8th position...

If Brisbane lose this becomes the biggest game of our season - and of course we know how we fold under pressure.

Half of me hopes we don't win. If we miraculously scrape into the finals and maybe even win in Week 1, suddenly the season doesn't look as bad as it really is. All the pressure to make some hard decisions is gone and we can focus on a mediocre 2013.

How many times have we been utterly pathetic, not shown up, not played with heart or for the teammate, the jersey…..gotten flogged....and then come out the next week only for that halfhearted crap a week earlier inspires them onto a gutsy 110% effort.

If they knock off (back to miracles) Melbourne, Nth Qld, Dogs, Melbourne again, then Manly in the Grand Final … Reckon we might be saying no one's handed it to them and that they've actually earnt it.

Of course this is the Hollywood version of September 2012 and more than likely we'll actually be at a loose end on the upcoming weekends... My point was, just hold your fire until the women and kiddies have left the Saloon. :wink:
