Well with the Wests Tigers officially out of the finals hunt I think it would be an interesting opportunity to explore options this weekend on the Gold Coast against a side who will be looking to rediscover some form.

Assuming that we are able to gain some exemptions for the second tier cap and Woods being available I would like to see the following

Lawrence is on our books next year, so we probably need to give him the last 6 games to show something. I would be totally fine with punting Anasta, Marshall and Ayshford, they are all in horrible form and have no future at the club. Id be looking to bring Koro back in, and certainly Brooks. Maybe give a couple of young forwards like Luani some bench time.
 
I'm hearing rumours that Woods is out for season,that he is going to get knee cleaned up now that we are out of contention.

Hope this isnt true.

Re the side,surely Harry has to blood some younguns.

Akoula,Fine,Mr T and Brooks should see some time now,fingers crossed.

Do you think he has the stones to torch Bunji and Anasta????
 
Stuff Lawrence. He has had all the time in the world to show something and all he has shown is that he is a sad shadow of the player he once was.

T had ankle surgery last week and wont be back until just before the NSW Cup finals

Tedesco is totally out of confidence and is killing backline movements. Needs time in state cup.

Great looking team Smeg but unfortunately we all know there is next to no chance of it being named. Though hopefully by round 1 next year its pretty close to the mark.
If i had to choose out of Akouala/Fine/Hitchcox as options for centre, i would probably prefer Hitchcox due to his superior speed.
Akouala and Fine are the wide running backrowers that our club is crying out for and i would love to see them get some first grade game time at least off the bench this year.
The only player im not sure on is Gavet, hows he performed in his couple of games back from injury?

Don't mind the look of that side at all TBH. Plenty of size and aggression on the bench too.

If they do that for Woods, they should also look at doing it for Lawrence given he has apparently played with injury all year.

Keep Sue and Curits, he could use more experience for sure. And I'd also keep Woods for limited minutes with maybe an extra week off this week if he needs it. Taking long breaks is not that great unless you've got an injury like Teddy and Lawrence.
