What he does short term is not really what he will do long term. He will be looking for another half no doubt about it.
Whats the use of having a good coach if the havles cant execute his game plan and be on field leaders representing his mantra.

What part of the game plan did they not execute? Please share this game plan that you have inside info on.

There is no inside info, Just realise what it takes for a half to step out on the field and be a leader.

Benji does ok but he is 35.

If you cant see we need to improve that then enjoy that 9th position, its the best you can epxect.

- Agree that Grant needs a rest
- Big critic of Doueihi at 1 I reckon he’s a centre but I’m happy to give him more time there and see what comes out of it
- Reynolds to take Walters spot bring some energy and spark late in the game
- Shift Lawrence to the bench and give the young fella Asu a chance to showcase himself with Tommy playing at centre

Love to see Harry Grant rested. Give the new Easts recruit a run on the wing and Tommy to centre

I keep liking your posts. This is spot on I reckon. Grant is injured talau should get a shot and the new kid looks better than what we have. Probably a bit early for him though

Fickle bunch here. One bad game from Doueihi and he’s dropped/moved.

It seems like a lot of people have forgotten about Mbye’s bomb catching ability.

Last week everyone wanted Mbye dropped and now he’s apparently first choice fullback

Grant is fantastic but 80mins is taking it's toll ..he was much better when he had a rest against Souff's and came back on..

I wonder if there's any merit in having Harry on the bench. Start with Walters (or Brooks) at 9 and hopefully have a strong start. If we're going well, just leave Harry rugged up on the sideline or give him 15 minutes to give someone a rest.

If we're struggling or get behind, bring him on for a bit of a spark.

Fullback is interesting. I suspect AD has a few niggles with his knee but it probably won't be a major issue if we turn up against the Warriors. I also don't mind Mbye at the back and Doueihi in the centres. If the Roosters guy arrives maybe a wing spot (where he won't need massive training to get up to speed), move Talau into the centres and give AD a week off.

I also wouldn't rule out playing Nofo at either centre or FB. He played juniors at FB and has filled in well.

It's fantastic seeing these young blokes blossom but we have to be mindful it will be a big grind for them - especially the guys who haven't played for 12 months.

See little upside to moving Mbye to fullback and Doueihi to the centre. I actually believe Mbye needs a rest, he really has offered very little over the last few weeks.

In an ideal world we'd have Mbye and Doueihi rotate at FB, at least in attack.

Mbye looks a lot quicker at the moment and he is a much better ball player right now in those sweeping backline plays.

I don't think Brooks has done enough to be brought back into the starting side but I do like this line up, and even if its a slight change he should be the 6 and Benji the 7.

I also might drop Rowdy, push Talau in and try out that Asu Kepaoa kid - good time to against a struggling Warriors.

Good thing is we have a few more options now with plenty of blokes coming back from injury/suspension. I just think if Brooks focuses on running first & backing up through the middle then he is a better option than Walters who didn’t really add much last night. Grant needs a rest but is too good to leave out so I’m thinking Walters can give him a spell & add spark at hooker.

That bench is all impact so I just hope McIntyre is good to go (after some head knocks) & Blore gets another chance.

Looking forward to Joey returning the week after in peak fitness too!
