After that game you would drop Moses but keep Brooks? Drinkwater did nothing in reserve grade so no use bringing him in. But out of the 2 halves today Brooks was so hard to watch in that second half. He looked like a 3rd grader at best in defence, attack and decision making.

Personally I don't see the problem with Moses. His good to poor play ratio is the best that we have had in years in the halves.

Moses hasnt got 1 try assist this season after 8 games.I dont think he has a line break assist either.I just think hes better off bulking up.I think hes a better fb hence his performance v the dogs last season

Agree with steve tiger.brooks defence is non existent . moses is the better of the two . sironen really not at first grade level. lawrence- how long can he stay there?

The jury's still out on Moses, he doesn't really have a chance to do much but generally he doesn't do much wrong when given the chance and makes fairly good decisions. Not a threat as a runner yet due to his build but passes/kicks pretty well. Defense has been solid too, as unconventional as it is.

Brooks on the otherhand has proven so far that he probably shouldn't be in first grade as long as he's missing as many tackles as he makes. His only positive contributions I feel are either off the cuff such as being involved in flukish line breaks or profiting off Tedesco's brilliance. Far too many times he's made the wrong decision and on top of it executed poorly too.

At this point we have no choice but to persevere with these halves. We don't have to persevere with the plodder bench or Lawrence.

Moses needs more ball, not to be dropped

Exactly. I don't get the hate at all. Very few poor plays and when he gets the ball he consistently takes the best option. It was a real good kicking game from him.

He needs to do more but he is a more complete player than Brooks at this point. Then again Brooks just gets run over too many times.

i'd go with the same 17 but lodge instead of buchanan

i really like lovett but still think halatau starting and lovett/ava/sue/lodge would be a better bench because it provides more imapct and dene gives moses a better protection and stability than lovett.

Maybe if Taylor lets our halves roam around the field instead of sticking to one side we would be better off? Just an idea that would make a massive difference.
