Your Team v Raiders

Probably a blessing that Ayshford picked up an injury yesterday (or did he?), wasn't his best game.
Needs a few weeks in reggies to find form, something, anything.

In saying that my squad v the Raiders;

1\. Moltzen
2\. Utai
3\. Ryan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Humble
7\. Marshall
8.Woods
9\. Farah
10.Galloway
11.Blair
12.Bell
13.Heighnington
14.Sironen
15.BMM
16.Moors
17.Fulton

Resisting starting Sirro but Sheens may go the other way as you all know.Based on yesterdays stint Sirro may the answer to who wears the #6.Very promising talent!
Not sold on Ryan being in the centres but don't want to muck around too much with a starting line up, I'll leave that to the coach

When we get our injured players back (Ellis, Cashmere, possibly Ayshford, then there's Reddy also) they'll be some selection headaches coming up in the next few weeks.
What a great problem to have!

Really warming up to Benji's role @ 7!

Either way Raiders in Canberra is a massive danger game but we are improving week to week and should hopefully peak by finals.

1\. Moltzen
2\. Tuquiri
3\. Ryan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Utai
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10.Galloway
11.Blair
12.Bell
13.Fulton

14.Humble
15.BMM
16.Cashmere
17.Heighno

18.Moors

Not Considered: Ayshford.

Thats What I would go for. I would rather see Tuquiri play centre (as he has over the years in rugby etc), but I know thats not going to happen, so I stick with Ryan tenatively who played there yesterday. The other option is Humble to the halves, Sironen to centre, Ryan to wing and Utai to bench.

9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. Bell
13\. Heighington

14\. Humble
15\. BMM
16\. Moors
17\. Reddy

OUT: Ayshford (suspected broken wrist), Fulton (unsure of how serious his shoulder injury is), Cashmere (recovering from torn calf)

I saw this morning where Ayshford tweeted to someone "@Blakeaysh: bit sore but should be ready to go against the raiders Saturday night"

Take what you want out of that.

I'd expect Siro to play at 6 anyway, now that he's had a taste…

Few injuries and I struggled to fill the bench. Hopefully Fulton and Cashmere are sweet for Saturday night. I opted for Ryan back onto the wing and Reddy in the centers. I just think we're a bit more stable defensively that way. Ive gone for Utai as the back on the bench because he can be used to add impact throughout the game instead of just sitting there for 70 minutes like humble has been doing.

Heard Fulton interviewed before the game and he said he coped a burner against the warriors and played on but got a bit tender through the week. Should be fine for next week.

Like that side too. I'm a bit wary of throwing Siro (damn it's funny saying that after so many years) in the deep end starting, prefer to ease him into it as well.

If Ayshford is right to go, then I guess Humble will drop out, if Fulton isn't right either, then Cashmere…..failing that Reddy.

Like the idea of Fulton starting at 5/8 and when Sironen comes on Fulton goes back to the pack to give Heighington a rest.

My bench:

BMM
Moors
Sironen
Cashmere

Sorry but can not find a place for Humble even thugh he has been good.

torn between reddy and ayshford, but blake in cuz of his versatility.

also taking humble out as I believe with this line up all our backs can cover anywhere on the field, so unless we're giving robbie a breather we won't need him…

this line up also might make it difficult for sironen to make a run on, as it relies on makign blake or someone else help in the forwards

moltzen is starting to find his feet at fullback. for me, he just lacks a bit of support play and he could be a real weapon. ryan is doing very good on the wing, i doubt how he will go in attack, he lacks pace as well.
good idea though, i just don't see it being very successful.

Moltzen
Tuquiri
Lawrence
Reddy
Ryan
Ayshford (if fit) Sironen (if Ayshford out)
Marshall
Woods
Farah
Gallaway
Blair
Fulton
Heighnington
BENCH
Bell
Murdoch-Masala
Utai
Humble

Sheens will drop Moors first - He would have been only in the side covering for Fulton.

I'd like to see this:

1\. Moltzen
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall.
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. Fulton
13\. Bell

14\. Heigno
15\. Utai
16\. Humble
17\. BMM

It's a light bench, I understand that, and last time we played the Raiders our bench was very light as well - having said that I think MY team has clear cut, defined roles for the players, where against them last time we were an absolute rabble.

Not to sure about starting Sironen against the very, very, large Canberra pack. His defence (which may have improved, was very ordinary).

Moors is a waste of space. However it depends on who is fit and who is not.

Ayshford, Cashmere and Fulton could all be in the side, or they could all be out. Will have to wait and see tomorrow.

He's got to get a start at some stage.

Lui got his start against a very bad Sharks outfit back in 2009, and he didn't slot in as well as Sirro did yesterday against a top 4 calibre tam.

If Sirro had of had the cushy intro to first grade that Lui did, he would have scored three tries himself in the first game based on his strong, confident performance yesterday.

Canberra are a decent team, but are not up to the calibre that the Cowboys currently are.

Start him, and if he has a bad one, or looks out of place, bring on Humble.

Sironen at 5/8\. Keep the excitement up. I'm greedy, can't help myself. Bring it on. I want him there.
