Unfortunately, as usual by this time of the season we have nothing to lose. I'm not writing Bula off as a fullback, but might be helpful to try him on the wing. Maybe Mason or Luke L at fullback to see how they go. Give Api a couple of games off to rest & allow Tallyn some solid reps in 1sts.

I agree with everything above, but can we stop with AD at Lock?

If were playing AD in the backs, then he needs to stay there and aim up for Center.
If were transitioning him to the Front row or Lock. Then we need to really change what he is doing.

Centers need to be quick, they are often a last line of defense so need to tackle and be able to pass/offload the ball.

Forward/Lock doesn't have to be as quick, But they need to be able to run gaps and make a load more tackles.

A center shouldn't over muscle up. A lock really should muscle up. ...

AD isn't a lock and his tackling is my biggest Questionmark on him. But since he is fighting for a position back into our side, lets not give him two almost contradictory directions>..

Muscle up, tackle up and become a front row/lock candidate.
OR
Stay trim and speedy while improving your tackling... Become a center (position is still up for grabs IMHO).

I’m looking for an old school winger who would only have to worry about tackling his opposite winger in defence and in attack if he got into the clear we could shut the gate.

Give Sione Fainu some game time in KOE for a couple of weeks after getting just a few minutes. The development of players like Sione Fainu will be vital next season. Kit Lualili'i on the bench because he's a different style of player to the other benchies. I'd slot him wider if given the chance.

Against a team like the Storm, not a good environment to test out the youth. Bring back the experienced guys if available.
 
Why on earth can't we stick to a few musts when recruiting and developing any player

*Must be big & Strong
*Must be fast

This, will be another flogging... Probably put 30 or more on us
