We can't touch him when he's kicking though. Gosh that rule annoys me. I get the kickers need to be protected but they've gone too far.

Api should do more of that if the markers are targeting Madden too much. Fainu can chip in when he comes on too.
 
We definitely have the better forward pack

No Iongi and Penisini in their backline

Surely this would be a win but you never know when you’re supporting the Tigers

Can't imagine we will remain under dogs by the time team lists come out, will dust them in the forwards, but need to tidy up the errors and maintain the good discipline.
If we take the game on and play some footy like we have done in Wahs and Cows games, could be a blow out.

Madden did impress me but I am assuming that Warriors didn't really target him on the 5th because they were expecting Douehi to be kicking.

However, to Madden's credit, he did kick well even when under pressure and what impress me the most was his positioning. He always tried to get over to the R side of the ruck, he gave himself enough depth most of the time and usually held the ball in two hands allowing us to score tries on the last tackle.

It was a new game plan, but it'll be studied and scrutinised by other coaches, let's see how it goes for a few weeks.

Moses is good down a short side and has a superior kicking game. Genuine play though he as good as any other half. If the forwards control the ruck then we are halfway to winning.
 
With this being our predicted side .. i like to see Bunty Afoa get a run in the side instead of .. say Alex Seyfarth or Tristian Hope. If we have Latu Fainu on the bench he can cover number 6 .. 7 and 9 if needed.

If his forwards aren't making ground .. he's not that effective .. our forwards have to play tough again .. like they did last weekend against the Warriors forward pack.

I would like to see the backrow wack him early in the game get him thinking about getting hit again right in the ribs

If Ado Carr is up against LL expect a length of the field try from Ado Carr when LL goes looking for an intercept Bula better have his running shoes on

Yeah if he's kicking from 30-40m out from his line then they have done the job. Our pack is better than theirs honestly..

Think we should ba attacking around the ruck. That Riley the hooker got a lesson from the Storm in round one. Straight up the middle.
 
History shows us that there is a high likelihood that Moses and TDS will come out and channel their inner Andrew Johns and Robbie Farrah putting on a clinic at 7 and 9. If we are no longer the Wests Tigers of the last 5 years than that will not happen and we win the game quite handily. Monday will tell us a great deal about this team.

I have a close mate at work who supports Parra and agrees about the pack, all off season he was saying their spine and backs play well but they are missing a big middle or a few to help
