Your team vs Kinghts

While Klemmer is a top 30 player at this club, he should be selected. It's the first game, not the 14th. Deal with it when it gets closer to that number. You'd think he'll be out to prove a point too given he's advertising himself for a contract elsewhere.

The club needs early wins and that's more likely with its best available on the field . I just don't understand how this club operates sometimes.
I'm not totally against this, you make a reasonable point about him wanting to put himself out there in a positive light and wanting to prove a point, I would imagine that he would probably relish it even more playing against a club that showed him the door.

I guess we find out what Benji is thinking around 4pm today.

Jack Bird has to play right centre this week! He would take it personal against Best and is a very strong defender. I would even move Jarome Luai to the right side just for that edge

Think the top 17 for the most part picks itself.

Only spots of contention for me are the 2nd centre spot and bench utility.

I don't think its ideal for Latu to be coming on to relieve TDS at hooker but not sure what other options there are, unless Mason does it

1) Bula
2) Turuva
3) To'a
4) Doueihi
5) Skelton
6) Galvin
7) Luai
8) May
9) Da Silva
10) Pole
11) Seyfarth
12) Sam Fainu
13) Twal

14) Latu
15) Bird
16) Hunt
17) Sione

Who's spot does he take? Assuming Sione's but I like that Sione can play across the forward pack. Klemmer is very one dimensional, if you pick him you carry 5 out and out props. I dont think Benji wants to run the lock as a third prop for the entire game

Nope the only feeling I'm getting is To'a & Doeuihi otherwise we would have seen it in the last trial IMO. Plus AD can goal kick. To'a has done nothing wrong in the trials & his defence and experience puts him above Faataape.
Yep. Agreed. I think the only question mark 1 to 17 is whether Bula is fit or if Mason takes the fb spot.

He won't be named. The word is he is already an outcast, attending training, but not part of the group, just doing a heap of fitness.

He could literally be at the club for only another day, or another 10 weeks given the issues St G-Ill are having with the Molo exit. While he's still at the club, use him!

Also, the middle stocks are bare if one player goes down before rd 11. Kit Laulilii and Matamua are next in line. If they need to play, then Benji's middle is considerably weakened. Then a bunch of T&T or part-timers can enter the fray from rd 11.

I just think Klemmer can be handy for the early rounds while he's still at WT, on the field, and in management of the squad.
I can’t believe the club would cast him aside and not part of the team , he was one of our Hester players last 2 seasons , he deserves to be available if fit and ready , I would start with Klemmer and May up front with Pole and Hunt off the bench
