Your team vs Parra

Bula and Api back and maybe give the same team another chance but....

We need a bit more punch on the edges, I think Toa adds has a bit more to offer with footwork and speed so Faataape out.

And Seyfarth, he has some good qualities with his work ethic but we need someone who can bend the line with power and leg speed? Is there some young big guy coming through, who'll rip in?

When you look at the Dogs, Manly, Dragons etc, they have power and strength on the edges, we don't

We on this forum have complained about our weakness in the backrow for months , but the only thing Richo and benji have done is let papa and Bateman leave , WITH anyone coming in , will be the clubs downfall again this season

Unfortunately they had to go because of their age 😂
Papalii looked super fit in the trials. He’s in for a big season.

Why are people wanting Toa back in?
Has he earnt it in any way?
again Tucker 100% right.

Toa hasn't shown any desire to claim this center spot and Faataape is putting in the hard yards.

Or are we saying punt AD for Toa? I can hear that, but AD is doing something.

Mason, Turuva/Staines, AD*, Faataape and Skelton.

If I was to make any change it would be Bird -> AD. But I see Bird at 16 man offering that "I can cover the back, but you need me in the front row I am there". Maybe Staines in for Turuva as Turuva was really off. But I realise Turuva was coming back from injury and this should improve with gametime.

*who is actually playing good and earning his spot, even though still needs to improve on defense.

Faatape scrambled very well and even though you don't want the team to be scrambling the whole time, we need to try and keep those effort players.

Best dominated Faatape but also made uncharacteristic errors.
Thought Best was far from.

Would like to think that Faataape may have put a bit of pressure on him, the bloke is a terrier and got a bit of mongrel about him.

Can't deny his effort which is more than you can say about some others.

Thought Toa was good in the trial especially defensively, but the injury setback puts him at 3 weeks out for parra game would he be ready?

Potential?

I think he has shown something......only at times though. IMO more then Faataape.
When was that?

In a one off against Valentine Holmes that everyone has been waiting for him to repeat ever since or was it last season when he did his hamstring early in a game scoring a try.

Don't get me wrong, I think Star has got something, but let's see him injury free and showing it consistently in reserve grade before he is considered for the NRL again.

Agree
Looking at other teams why can’t we find some bigger bodies to play in the centre’s & 2nd row.
Did everyone see the size of the new Centre that played for the roosters the other night, why we recruit players half the size who don’t even have speed.
Plus
Seyfarth is a back up first grader if we want impact out wide he is not the solution.
As I have mentioned before Richo has started turning this squad around but will need another year or 2 to get us near the top 4 sides.

Watched a bit of the Cowboys game last night, didn't see the usual niggle and bullshit from Bateman.

Has the coach told him to cut out the crap or did I just miss it?

Really , u don’t let players walk unless u got a replacement lined up , and that’s why we are looking bad in that area , the nsw cup side got done over so there’s no help coming from them

1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. Faataape
4. Doueihi
5. Skelton
6. Galvin
7. Luai
13. Twal
12. Seyfarth
11. Sam Fainu
10. Pole
9. Koroisau
8. May

14. Da Silva
15. Bird
16. Hunt
17. Sione Fainu

I want Mason to play centre in KOE- see if he can do it. Blake Lawrie, if he comes over could take Sione's spot. Need someone out of Sukkar, Porter, Broederlow, Kit & Matamua to push Sione, Seyfarth etc for spots. Johannsson perhaps.

Agree with this side. To'a up against Penisini should be a good match up and then AD's height can hopefully help contain Lomax from any attacking bombs. Having Api and Bula back will be huge for our attack too!

I thought he played very ordinary. Best schooled him and he was mainly poor in other areas.

I’m hoping Api and Bula are named. That should strengthen us.

Hopefully To’a is against Parra if he’s fit. Personally I’d drop Galvin and put Fainu in at 5/8.

I’d start Bird at lock too, and push Twal to the bench along with Pole. I’d have Hunt start.
