A disappointing thing for me is that Naden is held in such high regard amongst many of the younger guys in the squad as a mentor. Many mention him in interviews as a player who has helped them integrate into the squad.

Yep, a good stepping stone.
That is good to hear bcoz Naden could quite easily be holed as a person a young bloke should steer clear of. It’s a shame bcoz there is an entertaining player in there somewhere, who can do things others can’t, but it’s time to move on.
